Experienced the same thing on the way back from Jonkershoek this morning...

Unfortunately there will always be a small percentage of entitled cyclists, same goes for drivers, joggers, etc etc etc. I don't think that will ever change.

Ja, its unfortunate. The comments do give me a bit of a laugh sometime though! All the cycling hating people really do creep out from the woodwork and give their 2c's worth!

only because some of us give them reason to...

In this case, yes, they did give reason. But those comments will happen for no reason too. Just like unprovoked cyclists will flip the bird to a car that has done nothing wrong too.

The human condition is unfortunately one where we do not get along with those that are not in our tribe, and when the other tribe does something wrong - well then s**t really gets out of hand.

I thought I was the only one that flips the bird to every car just in case.

Everyone in that pic - except the far left cyclist, and including the photographer, is breaking laws.

Given the quality of that image I would presume its a dashcam video that the driver pulled a still out of.

If it were a cellphone it could very well have been a passenger, but again that image and more importantly lighting quality makes me think its a dashcam.

There is no obvious reason to assume the driver was breaking the law in this case.
