From next year points will be awarded for XCC again which will count toward an overall winner for the world cup title.biggest points they will score is pride and sponsor points! neither of which they should be lacking of (hopefully) Rigardt@Scott 1

A win in the short track is a win on your resume, Perhaps there are those who do a calculated finish to ensure they are on the front row and are not so fussed about winning it.
