Very nice bike! Congratulations ????

Just a question, with the goal being to get it as light as possible why didn't you opt for the Roval Control SL ltd wheels instead of the stock Contol SL wheels? The Magura MT8 sl brakes are also a bit lighter than the Formulas you chose?

Again, super nice bike but there are quite a few places where you can drop a substantial amount of weight and I was just wondering how you chose the parts

Thank you ,the Formula Brakes came in at 200g not 265g thats stated on Formula’s website and for the Roval LTD’s they were not available on the market when he ordered the Control SL wheelset

Great build and if you have a pile of cash to burn I can show you how to go under 9kgs on your bike

Not sure how big your bike is, here's my Large Cannondale with 2.35 tyres 2 cages, slime and the Cannondale tool kit at 9.74. Fox 34 so it's 120/120

thank you and you got yourself a very nice bike ???? the frame is a L. Edited by Swannie87

Impressive bike.

The build however is flawed. For example not a torque wrench used or in sight.

Nice build bud. Could easily be lighter with a few tweaks so the owner has a lot more fun to have which is great.

Thought I may be able to drop some weight on my bike without spending a bucketload of money, found a set of Titanium screws for my stem for R600, for 4  Decided to lose weight around my gut instead....

If that's how you want to drop weight (spend money) rather look at summitbikes.co.za

Those ti bolt kits are usually marked up by the 1000's of %

The suppliers could probably get you those 4 bolts for around 70bucks
