This is it. Dont forget anything that attaches to a go pro mount must have 2 of those ears otherwise it wont work.

You make a good point. I can model it myself (im a 3d modeler/revit operator) and have it printed.

Duh, the most obvious of solutions right there. Thanks bud!

Why not get someone to 3D print a bracket?

ABS Plastic 3D printed will withstand most things you can throw at it.

Thingiverse.com has a huge collection of GoPro mounts.

Not entirely what I'm looking for, but that might work with a bit of fidgeting.

It's R93 on Takealot, gonna buy one and see if I can make it work, thanks!

I have this mount:

And what I'm actually looking for is a bracket that is something like this:

Bikes and boards ..... if ever there was a horrible idea ....

Pro's - Okay, I do understand the need to show a race number, or a club membership.

Cons -

- mount it to the bars and it could scratch the bar ...

- on MTB it just loves getting mangled into the cables ....

- fold it back away from the cables and it could scratch the frame ....

- and where to mount it so that it does not clash with the bike computer ....

I opted for mounting it with velcro, for various reasons -

- easy to remove when the bike goes for a service, or moving between bikes

- the velcro wont scratch the frame

- having played with various positions I find this one the best to keep it out of the cables.

I look at these "out front" mounts .... and wonder if it will stand up to a tumble on the trails ....  and most of these are not out far enough, so the board will still be rubbing against the cables ....
