I'd thinking about it and would run a 2.6 or 2.8 tyre Yes, mine is mullet at the moment, 29er 2.6 front and 2.8 650b at the back. Rides amazing! I had 650b front and rear but the mullet has transformed the bike

The rush the first time you realise just how slow you have been going totally worth it. Regarding the bike in picture, and to paraphrase @Jewbacca - 100% would smash that! That thing looks like one of those oldschool 24” 300mm travel ones! It’s so wrong it’s right. Jewbacca and peetwindhoek

All turned out exactly as envisioned and I enjoy it more than any MTB I have owned previously, mainly because it keeps the rubber side down so well for me. 2.6x29” Asegai on the front 2.8x27.5 DHF on the rear (wanted something in 3.0 but couldn’t find stock locally at the time and wanted to just ride) SilverRider, vanniri, justinafrika and 4 others

BrandonH Posted November 20, 2023 Share So I had a lapse in judgement… gonna sell my full suss and keep the Rapide, she is too pretty to sell, and hasn’t even touched the mountains yet.. anyone here run a 140mm? I have a freshly serviced Rockshox Revelation 140mm fork I wanna slap on, but worried as I want to also use her to train and cover some distance as it will be my only bike.. maybe worth a shorter travel fork instead?
