Absolutely love it, doubt I'll own one at 150euro (R2600) but it's an amazing design. Would make a perfect gift being a limited range.

Hope they do a broader range with a few design tweaks.

More like R3900 with duties and VAT

I always wonder why certain items are so much more expensive than similar products from another supplier. Don't get me wrong, I use their bibs myself but I mean it is really fascinating that something like a shirt can be either R250 or R3900 - weird. I suppose my actual question is: Who pays so much more for the same product but, then I realized that I answered my own question with what I saw over the weekend: 

 

We went to a local place for breakfast and they were full so we walked around in their shop before heading elsewhere. In there they charge R34 for a loaf of bread or like R65 for a box of Keloggs (which at checkers or spar is R17 and R35 respectively) and there were actually people buying it. The mind boggles

I watched the GCN-Assos skinsuit clip,and from that, it looks like cost of labour is a huge factor. and i doubt the running costs in Switzerland are the cheapest. Sure, a Rapidsport jersey will do precisely the same thing, but it won't look as good and it won't feel as good. If that's your thing and you can afford/justify the cost, I hope you like this item.
