I get the same when on certain corporate networks or VPN that blocks bikehub (and other sites) This redirects you to a landing page that has the certificate issue. So good idea to check on different WIFI/networks or turn off VPN if you have it on.

Hi, how do i remove the make offer option from ads. I noticed this has started coming up on all my ads and now i don't always see reply from buyers as it comes in offers and deals and not in my DM inbox. Offers and deals is not on my main screen i need to move over a few topics to get it so never see it.

Secondly if i try searching in the forum i get an error.  I did log out and clear cache.

Make offer / Bike Hub Pay is automatically enabled on all private ads. 

In terms of missing the offers. Would you prefer it to come though in the DM conversation? e.g. "Matt has offered RXXXX. Click here", we have planned to have it more seamlessly integrated in chat for some time, it might be time to move on that!

I'm looking into that search issue but can't replicate it. Was this error after clicking a link to the search page or submitting a search?

Hi Matt, thank you for the feedback. I would prefer all communication to come through my DM as the notification is easily seen and would be the same as a message reply to an ad.

The errors were when submitting a keyword serch ie Salvage should throw the Salvage thread but gave errors. This seems to be sorted 👌

It seems the "Search" portion of Ad filtering is only searching within Ad titles, is that new?

I could have sworn it used to search within the ad text too.

Eg: I type in "power" and only get back ads where "power" in the title, not in the text (where it may mention that the bike has a PM)

I have two suggestions that may or may not add value: 
 

1. Have a search function on the chats, that would be super cool IMO, being able to search for specific items on the DM's will be grand
2. Have the ability to search for the size of a bike prior to having to enter the category, this will enable to user to search for both Road and MTB if they feel like purchasing more than one bike

Is it possible on the messenger to have "Enter" add a new line below in text rather then it activating the "Send" button?

I inevitably land up sending 3 different messages in the PM instead of one, every time I hit enter key.

SHIFT + ENTER creates a new line.

It's the common convention for most chat apps. But I do get that it can be confusing.

As of this morning I am unable to see any adds on bikehub. It just shows a blank page and then the forum section. I have tried from incognito with the same result. Any ideas on what it could be?

@Matt I've noticed that the search alert notifications in messages seem to have lost the parameters to the individual item. Instead of the link in the message taking me to the actual item, it's just loading a filtered search. See example below of the link in a notification message:

Anyone else had issues with Chrome on MacOS? Last couple months homepage starts to load then fails to this "Ah, Snap!" before it loads completely.

Tried clearing site data and cookies etc with no luck. Mobile is fine and so is Safari

Thanks for reporting this.

That’s the same setup I use and I haven’t experienced the issue. Corrupted caching would be the most likely cause, but you’ve already addressed that. I’ll bounce a few ideas around with the team and get back to you.

One other thing to check: are you ever using a VPN or connecting from an unusual IP address? We have spam and bot prevention rules in place that can occasionally affect genuine users.

Going to try a fresh install of Chrome on my laptop and see what it does.

I did notice the VPN block, I often use Proton VPN on Android/ Chrome mobile when out of country and need to turn it off before accessing BikeHub

There could also be a clash with an extension. Try loading Bike Hub in an Incognito window. If that works, disable extensions one by one to find the culprit.

Is it just me, or have I only now realized that when you quote in a thread, your post count stays the same, but if you reply to a topic, your post count increases?

Update: no increase at all.
