Anyone know why uploads defaults to Garmin Edge 1030 plus in Strava?

Side note, my ride was cut short by a puncture tonight and Strava's AI noted "virtual ride with flat tyre interruption".......

A bug that's supposed to be attended to at some time but its been there quite a while

I've been using this App for about a year now with my Tacx Flux S trainer.

A few weeks ago, around the last update, I sporadically, lose the ability to connect my trainer to the App and it just doesn't pick each other up.

I then delete the MyWhoosh App and reinstall it and Bob's your uncle.

However, a week later it happens again and I don't want to keep going through the same dance of deleting and reinstalling the App and Maps all the time.

Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way for me to check other settings?

I have recently had my trainer serviced and on my Garmin training App everything works perfectly - this only happens on MyWhoosh

I'd appreciate any input

Not sure if it will help but there was another update last night .... unless you've done it already?

I have completed the latest update and will assess tonight and hoping whatever bug crept in has been ironed out

I also found that happening if you have another device ( bluetooth) that might link to the trainer.

If I open my Suunto watch to record the session, Woosh doesn't pick up the trainer ( Tacx Vortex). I have to exit training on the watch and unplug the trainer before it connects again.

Hmmm, interesting.
I use my Garmin watch to also connect to my trainer so I can track my HR

Garmin is probably Ant + vs Woosh using Bluetooth. ( I could be wrong)

I thought the problem was with my trainer?! I'm using an Elite Suito with MyWhoosh.

With the latest update (about 2-3 days ago), my connection to the trainer struggled to connect and stay connected. It could intermittently see the Suito, but it just failed to establish a consistent connection. I assumed my trainer's firmware update a while ago had gone badly.

I got so frustrated after 20 minutes of trying, I threw in the towel and cycled outside :D much better

The laptop that I use for Mywhoosh seems to be outdated and specs does not do justice to using Mywhoosh as a platform. Is there anybody out there using Apple TV pared with Mywhoosh./

Please let me know your experience relating to connectivity, graphic quality and update time

I have an issue at the moment. I ride on my tacx, upload and then it does not upload to strava. You can see it on Mywoosh. If I run on the treadmill it uploads immediately.

I’ve been using an Apple TV with an old VGA monitor (connected with a HDMI-VGA converter). Works flawlessly, except for the obligatory screenshot that is not possible.

Question:

In ERG mode, could I run a SS bike on the trainer? Or any bike that’s in “a” gear?

I have an old, trashed Raleigh that could be made just fine enough to be used on the trainer. I want to take the tandem off the trainer and don’t want to buy a new bike. I also don’t want to put my MTB on the trainer because I don’t want to have to fiddle before I head out on a ride.
