U23 chick showing who's boss again...

Anything exciting go down or just a drag race at the finish?

It was properly good racing, some good attacks by Taneal Otto and few others. Maddie Le Roux and Zanri Strydom performed an exceptional breakaway in last km and were caught again, just. Zanri then attacked from the back in the last km or so while everyone was watching each other. She nearly held the break as well, the bunch caught her in the last few hundred metres.

It’s unfortunate that the comm vehicle was in the final straight. Should’ve rolled  back or pulled off route.

You forgot to mention Maroeshka's heroic break early on.

Watch the areal footage on @bleedToWin's Instagram story and you'll see the commissaire's vehicle had no influence whatsoever. https://www.instagram.com/stories/wilcostr/3035986842863808543/

Cheers. Didn’t forget, didn’t see it as the signal was all over. So a lot was missed. As much as the comm vehicle may not have had any influence, don’t believe it should have been there on the final straight.

The real point is the women’s team race was a fantastic event worth following. Great that Team DSM took the initiative.

Morning all

Why has it never realised for Cycling SA to live stream of this prestigious event?
Does not need to be Supersport, there are a lot of cheaper options in our technologically advanced country. Really, to have no live coverage is ridiculous?

It’s not a rugby game. This is boerewors roll country.

Wellllll ....

OUDTSHOORN seems to have matured beyond only playing sports with an odd shaped ball .....

Cycling is a big in their schools !!

The number of cycling events in the area puts the rest to shame.

but sadly CSA is too useless .... any broadcasting will have to be a private initiative.  Which then begs the question of permission to broadcast a CSA event .... 😏

Would have LOVED a YouTube stream.  Which typically means it is also available later, for when we actually do have some screen time.

It likely comes down to a financial issue.

It happens, comms are only human, sometimes they make mistakes...
