Building up a gravel bike.

What is the latest on bar tape for gravel use?
Any recommendations?

Double wrap of the same tape? Mix silicone and cork? One layer of a "nicer" tape?

One layer of decent thickness should do, IMO

Best tape I have ever used has to be the Titan Racing silicone tape...amazing product which can be used over and over again, super grippy and does not need the sticky backing to adhere to the bars..

It has a smooth matt finish with no holes which can get full of grime and dust, easy to wipe clean and if you remove it it can be reused since it does not tear or deform easily....

I feel what you’ve described should be the standard for gravel. 🤔

This is what I have , pretty close to what was described, unfortunately cannot recall the brand, but i think I got it at an online shop I did from an international store.

The winner of last years half-36one use two layers of tape.  He swears by this to dampen vibrations.

 

Sorry, not sure which brand.
