Which brand do you use as a chamois cream and does it actually have a decent smell?

I have only ever used Ass Magic, but hate the smell... and no it's not my ass that smells like that. Do any brand actually have a bearable smell?

Good old Vaseline....smells like oil, but it works.

Ass magic is the way to go!!! At inception the smell is comparable to roses...I haven't had the heart yet to smell it post ride.

Ass Magic probably the better but my wife uses Biogen Perform-x and side by side Biogen has the lesser smell.

I use Arse Magic (can't bring myself to say Ass Magic because of the donkey connotations) and it does not have an unpleasant smell pre-ride.

Squirt do Barrier Balm but they also do chain lube so not sure if it is just a packaging thing.😂

Go to your vet or agri shop. Check out the milking creams. Works better. Smells better. Easier to clean.

You can buy Ass magic directly from Assmagic.co.za it is cheeper and more variety.  I prefer the travel pack and it is about 40bux cheeper than most

I can only speak from my own experience, but for short or training rides I do not use chamois cream. However, for ultra-distance riding and events, I do find chamois cream beneficial.

mostly only on longer rides.

But I also have 1 pair of Wattz bibs that for anything over 60 minutes I need to have chamois cream. Fortunately I only wear these if the other bibs are out of action.
