Ive been testing it now for about 2 months. So far so good for me.

It is costly, but if you factor the costs of gels, bars and food etc that you would normally consume, you save on those costs.

The only negative I’ve found is because Im drinking so much more now, I need to pee more often. Other than that, it’s a thumbs up from me.

Just ordered most of those ingredients and will try it out - do you use anything for flavour? Also it might be good to get some potassium and magnesium in there, will see if there is an easy way.

the flavour comes from the citric acid and the correct potassium\sodium balance comes form the normal table salt and the low sodium salt in the recipe...I would not change anything from the given recipe

Well its pretty much all carbohydrates since it contains no fats or protein

so 27grams of mix will be 25grams of carbs...the rest being minerals

This is the defacto standard product used in my trail running community in NZ.

I have used it for 3 years as my only in event nutrition. It's amazing. I like to mix the flavours.

If you want to treat yourself, the Tailwind Recovery Chocolate is an absolute treat after a long event. Serve it in a glass with ice and it will change your life. I have run a few ultras and always have ice-cold Recovery in a thermos, and its mentally helped me with the last few kilometres.

Sounds like a great product for reverse psychology… nothing like hitting a hectic headwind, when your bottles are filled with Tailwind. ✔️🤭
