Tokai, Permit renewal, reminders on procedure welcomed!

Hi, IIRC, to benefit from the 4-rider-permit discount offered by Sanprks/TM, I just drop my application in to the little office, and they ‘bundle’ 4 riders together, and I get the reduced rate?

Permit expired 11/11, and wish to ride there again soon.

If anything has changed, keen to hear…?

thanks!

I think you need to drop it off at the bike park uitsig and they then make bundles.

This costs a R70 admin fee.

I don't think the office at Sanparks assists in giving you a discount?

So, they 'collect' them till they have 'batches' of 4, and then 'process' them every FRIDAY: i will be dropping mine off later today:

Contantia Uitsig bike park HOURS are 09:00 till 5.30pm.

Cheers

Good luck

I have found in the past that the 70zar is far easier than getting 4 people, their signed forms, pictures and/or old cards together in one place at a similar time.

It's like herding kittens unless someone is willing to really take the lead and do everything.

Maybe you will be have better luck!

What paperwork do they require?  Thanks.

Uitsig was awesome. I've always hacked about for ages trying to get 3 other useless people together while life got in their ways. Now I can lone wolf it, get S*it done, get the discount and all with ultimate ease. Almost too good to be true and too easy. dropped it on a Tuesday, got it back Friday. Needed 2 photos (or 1 and old card) and the form they have there. Shout out to the lads and lasses of the bike park for sorting it.

Edit: I don't think I got charged anything for the service. Which was a surprise. Did buy some new grips and a stem while there so  win / win.

Filled-out form (available on-site)

2 passport-sized photos

(or 1 photo AND your old access card)

cash or card.

Drivers license; they will take a copy of it themselves.

Pretty sure the 'they' there is not the bikepark, I would be very surprised if any of the parking charge went to them.

He is saying they as 'the farm'... that's how I read it?

No matter where you go 'they' (the farm) charge you an entry fee
