Another awesome event and well done to organisers 👏

Rode in G bunch and big ups to the guys from Crank Bros pulling and putting in good efforts to catch F bunch before Malmesbury and then driving pace back home to very respectable time. All in all great day out on the bike.

she snuck across when no one was watching.

I've had *** with her in the past so just left her thinking that someone else can deal with her ****

Last two years Finish Time DQed people that start early.

Really should keep on doing this ... only way to sort out the entitled ....

She wasn't too difficult to find. 🫣

I'd give her the benefit of the doubt, but if you've had run-ins with her before...

There was a J number in the big blob that led E and D on old Malmesbury ... I said "wat maak J hier?"....

Noone laughed except me.

Did you at least get the promised chocolate bar?

I felt so bad going past them, knowing I could not help as I do not carry a spare Quick Link to help.

Good on ya for stopping and helping.

When I got there, there were a large group of people ... okay, they are sorted and I started rocking the bike up the hill ...

I was halway passed when they asked: "Do you have a chain breaker?"

Quickly got the bent section removed.

No, he does not carry spares ...

Neither the 10 nor 11 speed quick links were wide enough .... so I left with them asking others for a quick link ...

I felt so sorry for his daughter ....

Surely there is something fishy here.

2nd and 3rd place both above 70 years old. Must definitely be on unrestricted e-bikes, there is no way they can ride those times on analogue or "legal" e-bikes.

@NicolasH

Spot on.

Starting in the tandem group was quite a challenge. We’re probably a G group pace and it took a long time to find a bunch and hang with them.  But we had a good day.  A close call with the E group crash on the way back from Malmesbury but fortunately unscathed.

A huge congrats to the organisers. It was superbly run and the effort does not go unnoticed.

And I’m super impressed with my boy who I’m pretty sure was the youngest (10 years old) finisher of the 95km route today. He didn’t complain once and even insisted on riding the hilly 8km home instead of catching a lift with mom. I think we’ll be ok for the CTCT.

Sorry, for which race ?

95km, 75, 45 and trilogy all had young people in the top riders .... from what I see on Finish Time.

Even a photo finish for 3 and 4 in the 95km.  That must have been something to see.

Had a great day out in AG - the Trilogy is a very cool event, a real skills tester, from road racing to hooking berms in the singletrack. Great course design!
My only gripe is that flat-bar mountain bikes were allowed in the bunch - makes for some very dodgy bunch riding, I saw many near-misses when an 800mm-odd bar on an MTB got tangled up with a curly-bar rider trying to maximise slip. Please consider making this a drop-bar only event.

Any news on the guys that was involved in the fall on the one rise on the Malmesbury road?

Did not look good with the one guy laying still and one gent sat there with a bloody face.
