I'm still a rookie, no. 19 for me.😉 And, it's ALWAYS a chilled ride for me. I am a 62 y/o weekend warrior, just doing it for fun.

All things being equal it also be my 19th, ticking it off then God willing 20th in 2026 ... Maybe hang up the cleats for this race after that?

I have the same feeling, stopping after I have completed no. 20. That constant uphill from about 60km to about 95km on the current route is taking the fun out of it for me lately.

I hear you also done 20...but with the +1 and next year it will be why not 1 more and +1, +1...then it will be 25...😊

look, I plan to ride until I'm so old they create a new age category for me, maybe it wont be full distance Ride joburgs, but it gives me something to work towards.

Number 16 for me this year. 

Have also over the last few years made it a fun ride, stopping for a coffee in Bryanston and a Beer in Dunkeld.
