I cannot imagine what it takes to race this event with a company branded jersey and partner on which mutual success depends on the capability to combine maturely, professionally and with superb minute-to-minute race craft. Other than the Bokke, the friendly South Africans spirit, the Big Five, the ceremonial braai, and a few other local gems, the Cape Epic is one of the coolest things about this beautiful place called Souf Effrika. For some it's an initiation of sorts; for others it's about professional glory. If you are on the start ramp tomorrow, sterkte and be safe.
