Cannondale Topstone (arriving later this month) will take a 56mm up front and 52mm in the rear with big clearance. 

SuperX can take a 51mm up front with big clearance on that too.

Just finished my 29er HT monsterX gravel build. I have NO intention of racing anybody AND I can fit any size tyre I wish. To add some perspective in my case - I have ridden a gravel bike, hence I am in a position to appreciate the difference in equipment. The gravel is way too hard on my lower back. You can run 45, 47, 50c tyre pressures only so low before obvious risks surface. The gravelbikes that could accommodate bigger rubber is 1)hens teeth, and/or 2)north of 60k should you have the moolah to buy one.

I did the Pretoria to Loskop on a proper gravelbike last year and it was brutal on my body never again so I converted my KTM mountainbike to a gravel monster never looked back again

Am I reading your broshures correctly ?

 

OP asked for "at least 50mm" .....

 

Diverge specs shows 45mm while the Crux shows 40 mm.

You are reading correctly Chris,

Out the Box with 45c and they both fit up to 2.2 officially.
Maybe a bit wider if you get creative. 😉

Worth sharing this.

Rims are from the Wilier Rave 2 SLR ID2 i am building up.

Miche Graff Aero 48 Rims

They are 27mm internals with Race King 2.2 tires fitted - tires fit the frame with around 3-4mm of space on each side.

The blow out to 54mm wide on this rim.

by comparison my MTB with 26mm internal rims and 2.4WT tires blows out to 60mm wide
