So, saw this.... let's call it surprising, debit order notice from my bank.

Looked into it, and it is this subscription for Rouvy.

Now, a while ago some enterprising entity took some money out of my CC account, from an old canceled card I'll have you know, I suspect inside job at the bank, but, since then, I do most of the transactions, especially online, with the virtual card, it changes the CVV every month... so anual subscriptions, welcome to scrutiny.

This debit order kept failing because of the VC.

No biggie, I like Rouvy, use it often enough, so quick log in to update the payment and!!! FWT!!!

How, in all the glory of all things Greta Tunder McNuggets did this become so expensive?

I'm not sure if I want to cry, or visit the whiskey, and then cry!

Wow.

Euro creep is really a thing..

I guess what would help is to have a starting point where you were at in terms of the pricing and then where it's at at this point. I personally find Fulgaz better than Rouvy and they bought them not too long ago (Rouvy bought Fulgaz).

Speaking under correction, but think it used to be arround 1800 zar ish when it started.

Now 3500 zar depending on how we mess up our exchange rate on the day.

Yup, I cancelled my Zwift and went over to Rouvy at the beginning of winter because they were so much cheaper than Zwift and then a month later they put their pricing up to close to the same as Zwift.

Zwift then offered me 3 months free to get me back so I cancelled Rouvy and went back to Zwift 🤦‍♂️

Now winter is over and I've paused my Zwift, basically scored 3 months of winter training for free.

BIG FulGaz supporter (same company as Rouvy). Rouvy purchased FulGaz - and gave notice it is being shut down/merged with Rouvy. HUGE outcry from the public and for now FulGaz stays and is being enhanced.  Sure it does not have a ton of bells and whistles than maybe Zwift, Rouvy or even Whoosh. But I would carefully assume that 90% of users do not care about these fancy bells and whistles. They want a nice ride, great video (FulGaz = 4k, Rouvy = 2k I think) and smooth interface. FulGaz ticks all the boxes, and it is much cheaper than Rouvy. Their route library is HUUUUUGE and cater to all needs!
