EPoh - from what I've read on the hub you would be bored to death on Sunday riding with us. We would love for you to join us' date=' but I know you would drop us if you were riding backwards.

However if you wanna join us please do!!!

I know Slowpoke Chilli and I think Ewep are doing Suikerbos on Sunday, else hook up with them so you don't have to do it alone. I told SP we might meet up at the circus for coffee with them.

But if you wanna go really slow, let meknow and we'll meet you there.

Nooo I think sometimes you just need to sit back, socialise and enjoy the ride. But to be honest I prefer to be out in the reserve in the nature away from the buzz. The reserve is so nice and green at the moment and before long it is winter again and then it turns dull and ugly Shocked

I think the reserve is probably better for you, We have alot of social (And I mean NOT racing) guys in our group that really ride for the love of being on the bike. If it's the social, sitting up thing you want on sunday why don't you guys go climb the mountain first then meet up with us at the circus for coffee and pancakes and join us for a slow ride back? There then you get to do both!!

Thanks Daisy, Ewep and Gav has warned me. I'm trying to get Gav to come with but he is still sick.

If we can get some more guys to come with I'm sure we'll be ok. We are going down the steps though, so the worse part (as I understand it ) will be fast.

There's actually 2 spots now to be careful off - the steps and round-about the cow-farm.  Not sure if the same guys are operating in both.

But lovely route for newbies, so enjoy!!

Hi

I have been

cycling for a month or so already. This is the first time that I have attempted

any exercise

In 8 years Embarrassed.

So my fitness level is practically on 0.

I am going out every 2nd morning and waking up at 4am Dead during the week, to miss the

traffic. I

do about 20km each time and it takes me about an hour. The hills in JHB is

killing me Confused, but I?m sure

one of

these days things will go allot better.

Good luck

to those newbies out there that are brave enough to do 50km

maybe I?ll get there someday.

jinx, this is a very easy route with no hills. you actually should come join us on satuday AND i will be there to help out if need be (if i have to quickly put hte gas on to go fetch a car that won't be a problem at all) but i'm sure you'll manage it. where have you been doing your 20km rides?
