why does everybody want a water bottle. You can only use two at a time, max. Maybe if they improve the quality of the bottles yes, but these locally produced crap like the Hollard bottles (it's the easiest way to discribe it, nothing to do with the company) are terrible.

Mampara

Waterbottles are always handy - provided thy are not as you describe them , terrible.

My kids are constantly using bottles for their activities, my wife and I use them at the gym, and then of course on the bike.

They certainly have a limited lifespan, and the dishwasher also takes its toll on the bottles after a while.

I use local bottles on the bike, Hollard one's, and one's I purchased from Westdene C.

Maybe I dont know any better, but they work fine for me........

They use to be fine for me aswell untill you leave you made up bottle a day or two in the fridge. You know, you make it the Friday evening because you are gonna ride the next morning but don't but then use it on the Sunday. The drink then tastes like plastic. I now use The Rav-X bottles. They are the same as the BBB ones just the logos are different. There is no plastic taste and they actually fit in the bottle cages. The sad part is that they are R50 ea.

No more water bottles thanks, I have more than enough.  Their quality normally sucks.

No more 2 or 3 month old magazines thanks.

No more samples of cream and useless stuff thanks.

Come to think of it, I dont recall ever looking forward to a goodie bag.

How about they keep it and reduce the entry fee or give us something more useful.  A pen, bottle opener or whatever else mentioned here before.

The best goodie bag ever was for the Kremetart. bunch of bananas, 4 avos, 4 guavas, big bag of nuts, oranges and so on. Could hardly lift it.

The worst was the last Argus. An antique magazine and a bunch of cr@p you would do your best to avoid at the traffic lights. The bar one was good but the rest was useless.

I like the socks idea. You can never have too many bottles. How about chain lube and stuff like that for bikes
