I have also seen a place in Alrode that does it, but cant remember the name of the company

I've also used African Electroplating in Industria Joburg before and they were great.

My latest project is finished a 1988 Bridgestone RB-2

The frame is in really good condition, no rust spots etc just a few and I mean very few small paint scratches.

Groupset is Shimano 105 which shift as smooth as butter, very impressed.

The wheelset is a set of Campagnolo Zondas. The rear hub was changed out by previous owner for screw on cluster type. I'm currently looking for the correct hub which I will then probably move the wheelset over to another build.

Took it for a 30km spin yesterday and its fast and very comfortable although the position is a bit stretched, but a shorter stem will get me there.

Chaps, I'm looking for an 80mm or 90mm quill stem to finish a build.

26mm clamp diameter would be preferred, but I can make things work with a 25.4mm.

If anyone is interested in a swap, I have a 26mm Cinelli quill stem - 130mm length.

super difficult to find, I had a LOOK and had to get one on ebay

Thanks, was hoping not to have to go there, but at least there is some 26mm's on ebay. Will see if there is any response to my bikehub advert over the next few days and if not buy from there. 🙃

or as mentioned...Ebay.

both reputable shops i have used in the past. They offer courier service to here but for a part that cheap it's not worth it to UPS/DHL it.

Thankyou for this.

I've also used aramex in my last few imports, they are pretty reliable.

The SJS Cycles seat post looks like a really good option

edit: just saw the 26mm option not available
