my new steed....

all done with left overs.

she's purrrrring at 34/20

surly steel rigid, stiff as ***, but real nice

It's not the fork, it's the ally frame that makes that ride stiff as "***". Get a steel frame bud, you'll never look back.

I agree, I have a stiff carbon fork but my steel frame makes the ride a pleasure. The bonus with the STR is that the bike is really not heavy at all.

Hi Guys,

I have managed to get an entry for this year and next years Sani2C, so unfortunately have to sell my SS. I have it advertised t R 15k, but am open to offers - cost me R 16k to build. I have only done one ride on it, most components were bought brand new.

Cotic Solaris frame - Large

Rapide carbon pitchfork

Rapide xc 49 rims on Rapide superlight hubs with Maxxis Ardent ust tyres, tubeless done

Rapide 780mm  bar, stem, seatpost and seat

XT crank

Rapide narrow wide 32t chainring

Rapide 18t cog

One one doofer tentioner

On one smoothie light headset

XT BB

Shimano m520 pedals

Thanks

Before I even opened the thread I knew there would be a carbon hard tail in here .

And really amazing how one person can ride so many different sizes. Medium ht, large fatbike, small roadbike.... Amazing
