So on Friday morning I woke up with the k** idea of building SS Rigid mountain bike.

 

Budget being extremely tight(why is the budget always so tight?) I hit the hub searching for wallet friendly parts

 

After spending most of Saturday finding the right parts and assembling it, this is what I ended up with

On Sunday I headed to Hakahana and did the blue route, man was I surprized, what an epic bike this is.

Not once did I wish for my creature comforts like gears and suspension(got no time fo dat)

 

 

Next up would be to strip it down again and paintstrip the bike, also want to remove the cable tabs while I'm at it

 

I also have a few issues with the chain slipping under some heavy climbing, but I modded the tensioner with a bigger wheel that seemed to sort the issue for now

 

Will post again once it looks a little better
