If you don't come right with the adapter left me know. Olympic had a few last time I was there

Thanks for letting me know Flowta, my sis picked it up for me. I'll get it the end of next week.

Now to take some pics of the bike as built up.

My single speed creation. Still working on a proper chain tensioner but for now a derailleur works just as well.

Being a roadie where carbon rules, i've taken a bit to riding in the dirt (seems quite a lot these days).

After pimping my lil ladies Dual, i was stuck with a whole lot of parts. I decided to build a spare bike for anybody to use, you know the mate that wants to try MTBing and doesn't have a bike scenario. So i eventually found a light carbon frame (cos i'm a weight weenie), then went riding with some crazy SS people. So the seed was planted, i hooked up a rigid fork from a hubber, popped all the parts together and KungFu Master was born

So recently I bought a 29er and started shuffling components across my bikes... the result being the 26er SS got retired (dismantled). My On One Inbred AM got stripped, the talas fork swopped for a rigid (off the 26er SS) and this has now become my new SS... although is a 650B SS :)

I managed to finish my first SS build. Most of it were sourced from fellow hubbers. I got the frame, seatpost and seat from Muviman. The brakes are from kvdp. The leather grips are from BBN. Half link chain, chain tensioner, fork, cogs and spacers from Kiwi's shop, Rapide. Handelbar, stem and pedals from Bicicletta. Wheels from Family cycles in Centurion. Crankset from Torx in Centurion.

LOTS of help received from rouxie and jcmeyerSS.

I already did about 150 km of nice dirt with it. Had some chain slip for the first 50km, but it settled after that and from there it was just one huge pleasure. We did lots of mud and it was a liberation not to worry about gearshifts and huge maintenance afterwards. :w00t:

Did you not like the Middleburn?

Unfortunately the one arm of the crank started ovalizing which caused the crank arm to start loosening whilst riding. Even using loctite didn't help.
