surely it is not that bad if he said that. if you so upset with it why did you not ask him there why he is so unhappy/irretated with the kid?

remember you own kid is never a problem.......before you understand me wrong....i do not say the dude was right by saying that.

the other day i went groceries shopping...this kid was making a $%&^$ noise like you can't believe(parents was standing there as if nothing is wrong or maybe check why is he making such a noise) after a while i got a bit tired of it so i ask the laaitjie "why the noise?"....then the parents wants to *** me out because I must leave their kid alone etc.

so ya.....just think parents get a bit upset too quickly about little things like that in life...there is much more important things to worry about thatn that.

Believe me...... it is no water off his back so Relax as it is not worth the energy you are spending on him. Put it behind you and move on  G112.  Skye2007-10-18 09:06:43

I would agree with Skye, you came, you explained. It's out there everyone knows your experience, move on now go somewhere else when next you want to buy something. Anything else now is just wasted energy and vindictive.

But ja it's up to you!

I dont see the need for this thread. Maybe he overeacted, maybe not. End of the day if your kid damaged one of his bikes that would have been his problem. If you felt that he overeacted you could have told him in his face. Posting it here doesnt help the situation.

I'm with you on this one AL, as a non-parent myself a trip to the Supermarket gets my blood pressure sky high....those annoying screeming kids in trolleys....can't stand it....just like my neighbours dogs....constant keffingAngryAngry

and if you give the parents a K@k look, your are wrong....Ouch and I'm not, I just want my peace and quiet while shopping....

so parents, if your kids can't behave in shops, please leave them at home....

Hey I am going to go bike shopping with my 3.5 yr old and return with a Colnago.. "Hi Dear, just back from Cyclelab, Jimmy scratched this bike so I had to buy it"

Personally, after one experience with TWO kids in Morningside Cyxles and my kids trying to touch everything I dont go into bike shops with them anymore. Must congratulate the staff, who were never rude to them once.

Avrons Shop ( Cycle Traders ) ....... wher's this shop because I'll shop there if it's a kid free environment.

On a personal note, I think all kids should be handcuffed and kept on a leash when they are taken to any shops.

In fact .......... why cant we have a dedicated 'no kids allowed' shopping centre!!!

Call me grumpy, but I don't like them
