Cyclist - Attempted rape

Thanks to Anthony, one of our trained and committed Members, on leaving his farm this morning on the Nooitgedacht road in Magalies comes across a middle-aged lady who was fighting for her life at approx 07h20 and saved the day. She set off cycling along a very tranquil, beautiful open stretch of road when a 16 year old youth who was also walking on the road with his dogs confronted her. The youth set his dogs on her and she in protest was forced to get off her bike.(16 yrs old, 07h20 in the morning with evil intentions, what will he be like when he is in his late twenties?)The dogs bit her, and he grabbed her by the hair. She fought back offering him her cellphone, bicycle, which he said he was going to take either way, but preffered to rape her first. For fifty metres the fight ensued, in the process he also bit her - animal! hit her with sticks and kicked her in the privates. On Anthony's arrival and the youth ran off, she was a mess. SAPS are in hot pursuit, and knowing the Magalies/Hekpoort Police I am sure they will get him, and talk to him in a language he understands. Well done to Anthony and others, we are proud to have you as members. We are looking for many more 'Volunteers' like Anthony. Well done to Anthony for assisting. The world would be a better palce if we stopped turning blind eye's to people in need of help.

 

From the description it seems like this lady was riding alone. Not sure on the area, but riding alone isn't a wise idea.

I live a few K's away from the area, I cycle alone here all the time and have had no issues BUT I would not advise a lady on her own cycling anywhere in South Africa.

stuff like this makes me sick to my gut. Really pray she wasn't raped ...hope the cops **** him up solidly before arresting the animal...

SICK COUNTRY WE LIVE IN!!! Hope they remove his "horn" and use it as a butt plug on him!!!

 

Prayers are with the poor female cyclist for a speedy recovery from this nightmare. The fact that she is a cyclist is incidental to the issue. NO female should have to endure this kind of treatment from anybody.

very very difficult to never cycle alone if you're female.
