  3. I'm riding tomorrow if ya keen...and 2 weeks time would like to Shuttle Paarl again
  4. Not the best photo, but had an awesome day out at Paarl today on my OneTwenty
  5. Not the best photo, but had an awesome day out at Paarl today on my OneTwenty
  6. Yo man I'll be riding em too...look out for a black Pyga OneTwenty and gimme some ***
  7. Yeah part of the enduro stages
  8. Already way ahead of you on that front. But one cannot always do a long ride after work. And main Bloemendayl seems so wasted. Bloemendaaler is pretty dodgey at the moment. Passed some dude on there the other day and he looked terrified Even Conties only has the black as a technical line. The blue is just as tame as Bloemendal's Lombards. Anyway, perhaps the reason RSA technical MTB skills are in general pretty *** is because our trails are in general way too chilled, but that's a discussion for another thread
  9. Yeah you can...the main trail is there...add some devil runs with rock gardens, alternative bigger jumps, one carries enough speed on Lombards that it would be wicked
  10. You mean that "roll-in" that all the dirt roadies poop themselves for and go over at 0.1 km/hr? Na man...it's great for beginners. My favourite part...the "illegal" stuff built by the local kids in Majik!
  11. Lombards is basically a tar road at the moment. There is no nice technical trail at Bloemendal at all Fun yes...as fun as it could be...not a chance
  12. Dude, Stoke Suspension in Observatory here in CT. Not sure on cost, but those dudes will not rip you off and their workmanship is super!
  13. If it's like my old Lyrik from 2010 it'll be burly as **** Waaaay more than a Rev
  14. Where'd you get the 120 in that colour scheme? :| Waiting for my replacement front triangle....sight...Been waiting since November ;(
  15. I don't consider myself a super strong climber but I passed a LOT of people on the uphills on the weekend riding the Argus MTB race on my 120...with flat pedals and 1x11. The rear end is sooooo stiff the power transfer just feels super direct and the acceleration is great. Over more technical rooty climbs you also smile. 29'rs...so far only one has impressed me (admittedly on paper) and that's the Evil for the type of all-round riding I want to do. Yes I would LOOOOVE one of the Carbon Pyga's...but I'm not rolling in enough dosh to fork out close to double the money for a frame...and honestly, I doubt it makes that much difference in all honesty.
  16. I have the 120...Got it from Bibi...If you can, put a nicer fork than the Revelation on it I'm running 150mm in the front...so higher than they recommend, but love it. To me it is the perfect allround bike. As capable as the 110 uphill, but wipes it on the down stuff
  17. DH is NOT for most of the ppl who rode Argus MTB yesterday Hell, singletrack is not for most of em Photo's look awesome
  18. Man it take like 30min and you don't even need to watch it while it's busy....Although is IS better to completely wipe it and start fresh to clear off all the old crap slowing it down
  19. have you NEVER updated your firmware? :| That's old
  20. EasyBike perhaps? http://www.easybike.co.za/park-tool-home-mechanic-repair-stand-pcs-9.html Or Takealot http://sport.takealot.com/sport-park-tool-pcs-9-home-mechanic-repair-stand/PLID34183549 BuyCycle https://www.buycycle.co.za/workshop/repair-stands/park-tool-pcs-9-home-mechanic-repair-stand/ Cape Multi http://www.capemulti.co.za/CATEGORIES/tabid/5071/CategoryID/183/List/0/catpageindex/3/Level/a/ProductID/2221/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName%2cProductName My bet is Takealot...they have stock so will arrive ASAP and shipping should be free at that price.
  21. Yes it held my Spaz Enduro which was over 16kg at the time. although clamping on the top tube was better. Using the seatpost creates a lot of torque on the clamp arm on the CWC one as was prone to turn. However, I have had no problem with clamping it on the top tube. Especially considering the price
  22. Old stock at Olympic in CT so only R780
  23. Got myself one of these on Saturday
  24. No 2016 yet...no clue where they are...What's the point of their fancy tablets and tracking equipment if you can't update a database in 3 days...?
  25. Woop woop, so my (well not my personal one) OneTwenty seems to have crossed the Himalayas http://www.pinkbike.com/news/shaken-and-stirred-crossing-the-himalayas-by-bike.html Edit...p.s. Don't let your phone autocorrect :-P
