  2. I tried running with no bar ends. Found myself reaching for them on longer rides so went back to my old setup. It has been said not to use bar ends on risers, looks funny apparently. I use on my risers, end of marathons when the body is tired I dont care how I look!

  4. do a search dude, plenty of info on CRC orders and charges. seem to think shoes falls under clothing which is 40% duties plus you VAT on top of that
  5. was in the same boat using the addidas ones now and happy, came with two lenses, dark and orange (antifog). Find the dark lenses with my presciption lenses alters the depth of perception though.

  10. yip i also found that with Spec, wanted a pair of shoes in white, saw them on evans website, they will not ship outside Europe.

  12. never read LA's book, but am currently using The Mountain Bikers Training Bible - Joe Friel got a really good understanding of the science of training, how often, what, when, how hard etc. i highly recommend

  14. And parent with small kids,PLEASE keep your kids under controll on the MTB trails! Last week at Groenies, on two occations we had to hit the bush to avoid kids either coming in the wrong direction on the trail or simply abondoning bikes in the trail
  15. quick question with the 500, is it possible to load mapss from google maps onto the unit or is it not possible to load any maps onto the 500? looking at either the 500 or 705 but not sure how often i will need to load and follow maps

  23. why use Powerade? for R250 you can get a tin of 32GI, 20 servings per tin = about 15L and will do far more for you than Powerade slightly more costly than Powerade but you will be getting a much better product
  24. The "K" does not get stuck on the keyboards in JHB though! You are deffinately lucky, If I want to ride I got to load and drive 40km! unless I want to ride at MTN cycle park which is about as much fun as riding around my lounge! stayed in PMB when I was young and could ride out my gate and staight into the forrest of Cascades....ah....bliss!! another good thing you got in Bloem is bike shops who have good prices and want customers, not like the jHB shops (well most of them)
