    I must agree. It is economics and it is service I will be willing to pay for. If somebody makes a business from taking over the responsibility of selling my bike and holding it as stock I will gladly give him a 25% margin just like any other business. He will win some and loose some. Sellers who don't want to part with the margin can wait patiently for the right buyer. Now the seller simply has options.

    I just bought a Purgatory control to use on the front of my Epic. Just woke up one day and cared more about my teeth than having a faster tyre. Also looks like it won't clog up easily with a bit of mud.

    I see in 27.5 form it has almost become the trance of a few years back. But the Anthem X 29er which is their SA marathon bike still has the 71.5. I fully agree with you that the bread and butter bike should be the 120mm trail bike for most riders but the claims on this site about Epics etc being like walking on eggs are greatly exaggerated.

    The Anthem X which is widely considered a good all round bike around here has a head angle of 71.5 degrees and 462mm chain stays. 70 degrees on a 100m 29er is hardly a spitting cobra.

    The question is not whether Allister had the best resources in the world to work with as apart from the Lions all our teams hardly ever looked like scoring a try. This is not 2007 where we had 2 teams in the final and nobody was expecting him to magically become better than NZ. But even amongst the limited resources and skills he had to work with he was still the weakest link. We were outcoached almost every game. His insecurity about his ability and the resulting public berating of players and snubbing of all things Lions as a show of force meant he didn't come close to realising the potential of the group.

    Living in the middle of nowhere I mostly cycle quiet roads with the odd car passing so the radar makes sense for me.

    Don't look at brakes in isolation and make blanket statements like ..... brakes are crap or amazing. A set of poorly bled Shimano brakes with contaminated pads will be horrible but bleed them and pop in a set of new resin pads with new rotors and it's a different story. Yes some brakes are inherently better but the best set with contaminated pads will be worse than most other sets.

    It bothers me as well, a coach so insecure about his ability that he has to blame the players. He has been making Jantjies the media scapegoat since he took over. How does he expect to get the best out of the players like that?

    Agreed it would be great if there were 8-10 teams who could win on any given day. I would like for Japan to tour here and we have proper cliff hanger test matches against them. Then we can stop milking the few actual contests that currently exist. Off course this should be happen by Japan almost reaching All Black level, not by South Africa becoming the 16th ranked team on the planet.

    It definitely shows up the Apple 'honey I shrunk my phone' watch design. Just allot of money for something that will be outdated at some point.

    Yes definitely for the vehicle market some price control is needed. Let's take Toyota as an example. The big selling point is that you can find a Toyota dealer in pretty much every town. If the dealer in the big smoke who is moving large volumes discounts like crazy and the people from small towns go and buy in the city but then expect service in their local town the system will collapse and the brand will suffer.

    You can put it in a mode to broadcast the heart rate but then it only does that. From the reviews the heart rate accuracy isn't great for cycling because your wrist bounces around so I wouldn't buy it primarily as an optical heart rate sensor for cycling.

    From the start of the season I noted the entire Sharks team shouting at the ref all game and it seemed like a stupid idea. It's obvious now that it comes from the coach and frankly it's embarrassing. They should be channelling their energy into positive rugby but clearly that's not on the agenda. I have been a Sharks supporter all my life having grown up there but it's really difficult to support such a negative and ill disciplined group.

    So basically the current combinations of travel / eye to eye length came from frame designers and didn't allow for optimal bushing design. Fair enough even though metric obviously has nothing to do with it. My only fear is that this comes from the company that has already convinced people that R15 000 is cheap cheap for a groupset and that a groupset doesn't actually contain brakes. It will probably just be the next step in seeing if they can create an even more expensive level of bike.

    He does have the risk of not selling the item again. I suppose the question is as a seller would you rather sell to him or be stuck with your item for weeks?

Like he doesn't have enough things to look out for like the breakdown etc. Is he supposed to count the players every 15 seconds as well. That buck stops with team management.
