  4. Dunno if it's been poster: THE SUPER STATS FOR THE BUGATTI 'WHITE GOLD' SUPERCAR Cost: £1.6 million Number built: One Engine: 8-litre W16 Power: 1,001bhp Accleration: 0-62mph in 2.7 seconds, 0-124mph in 7.3 secs and 0-186mph in 16.7 secs Top speed: 253mph (with roof down: 217mph) Braking: 62mph - 0mph in 31.4 metres (DVLA figure = 73 metres) Carbon dioxide emissions: 596g/km (Toyota Prius: 92g/km) Average fuel economy: 10mpg Fuel economy in town: 6.9mph The £1.6 million L'or Blanc edition of the Veyron Super Sport model was built by Bugatti with help from a German ceramics company better known for making high-end tea sets. As well as its swirly porcelain white and blue paint work, its exterior features filler caps, badges and wheel caps made from specially constructed from the material. Bugatti's design experts came with the psychedelic blue and white paintjob as a tribute to the 'Stelvio Pass', a legendary stretch of road in Italy. The supercar firm even went as far as describing the creation as an ‘unusual idea’, with the one-off vehicle sold to a super-wealthy Saudi Arabian customer. Dr. Stefan Brungs, Director of Sales and Marketing at Bugatti Automobiles said at the time of the car's launch in, last year: 'At first, it seems to be an unusual idea to use porcelain in a car, especially in the world's fastest convertible. 'But this is what Bugatti stands for: the realization of exceptional ideas whilst striving for the utmost in quality and aesthetics. This allows us to continue Ettore Bugatti's heritage, who himself loved to experiment with new materials

    New Bike??

Silverback and Giant has always been a value for money bike in the past. Don't rate sliverback's dualies, so i'd definately go for the giant!
  6. Mini hi-jack: I'm no pro on the bike, but spend quite a lot of time in the gym. It's obvious from that personal trainer Frikkie/Karel/Jan-Hendrik with the boep and the ear bud arms in Virgin Active are no experts in weight training, yet they create programs for gym-newbies at R150 per session! THey have generic programs from the google machine that they use for these poor okes! Shame... I say you get what you pay for. If you're gonna do it, do it right! Make sure the trainer knows his isht and if you feel you're not getting enough personal attention- move on! Also, a profession trainer WANTS YOU to achieve- then he will look good. Frikkie WANTS MONEY.
  7. Ditto! The case number is key to your claim!!!
  8. Yup- berry or orange here!
  9. What he said!
  10. Define normal! in 2001 a 1.44MB Stiffy was normal, and a 4TB external abnormal. in 2012 it's the other way around. We are dealing with it- maybe you should too!
  11. Nice and neat garage! A place for everything and everything in it's place!
  12. Teeeheee, when my backside feels too spoilt in a year or two- i'll give a shout for that HT
  13. Geeeez! Almost sounds too good to be tue
  14. There seems to be no form of stock control... Last year I bought a proper MET helmet (no idea what model) for R250, lying right next to a pink "barbie" Makro style helmet marked at R350. Lotsa old stock too, but always worth a look! O yeah, if you know for sure the price is way off- take it up with the manager (if you're that type of person- i am) and more times than not you'll get a better deal.
  15. Cajees Princess Crossing has got a good range- everything is negotiable But keep your bike faaaaaar faaaaar away!
  16. THis is the bag by ASG. Does not look all that comfortable for R1690.... I bought a padded sleeve for my laptop, bought a spare hydro pack bladder and zipped both into my FOX backpack. Very versatile and cheap to- 3 years and still going strong!
  17. When Teak was still open, we used to take our MTBs by car along this road. Apparently those cycling lanes now means "the whole road has now become yours". It is so so so frustrating having to swerve for a bunch of them (4 or 5 abreast) NOT even using their allocated lane but now giving themselves the permission to own the whole road. Throwing pins in the road is silly and childish, nevermind extremely dangerous at high speeds as someone mentioned, but what if you regularly travelled that road by car and have to deal with these rude cyclists on a daily basis giving you the finger for driving on their road. I can imagine their frustration. After I came second to a Toyota Dyna about two years ago (in the emergency lane) i've become very aware of my attitude towards drivers. It has been discussed over and over again, the problem is a very 3- sided afair. It's both our roads, but it's foolish to argue that point with a solid steel bull-bar...
  18. I can too, unlimited chars. "Twitlonger".
  19. +1
  20. Seems you have not mastered the art of Facebook profiling. It's in the arms, always the arms. By the looks of it- she's a even 60kg
  21. Difficult to argue with this. Professionalism at its best. Not a customer myself, but soon to be it seems!
