Ya, not lekker. Not that I'm commuting(a bt far) but I regularly watch who/what is coming up behind me in traffic, even when its quiet. With trucks you need to be extra vigilent.

Oi, I dont' know the area well , but go Cedar road, just before the N14, you turn left, and go though Mulderdrift, up past Silverstar(now, don't get tempted and go in there... ) and go up Krugersdorp hill... then you can go back. Nice climbing there. Or when you get to Key West, turn left onto Voortrekker Rd, and head to Christiaan de Wet and return that way to Fourways. We end at West Rand cyles, and the last 25-30k is mostly up.
Just like the emergency lane isn't for jumping ques, and the straight going lane isn't for turning because once again there is a long que. I threw a motorist with a Powerade Bottle yesterday becaus ehe tried the turn thing in a straight going lane, keeping me up...pity I missed.. His window was open.
