  1. Enjoy your build! Also had lots of help from Hairy in the sourcing of my frame and some other bits.

Yup, Smith showed how dangerous he can be and Bailey is due. Maxwell still to come.

    Cricket......

We need a big one from the #, as a matter of fact both of the openers owe us some runs of late... Chasing 330 with the pitch apparently predicted to become slower as the game progresses.

1st T20 on against Oz: Aus - 144/6 after 20, we did well to restrict them SA - 53/1 after 6.2
  12. Apparently Mister Glass (Goosen) was picked as a fullback, together with Lambie more of a utility pick then.

  17. Nibbles to defend his TDF title with Berto, Froome and Quintana looking to spoil the party and young guns Aru & Pinot to try and upset things!!!
  18. I've got one of these I sometimes take with... Cool 180 degree flip-up screen as well for those 'selfies'
  19. Tomorrow is going to be awesome!!! Who do you guys tip for Sunday since both Spartacus & The Panzerwagen is out and the course fairly flat?
  20. Thanks for your reply!!! Getting back to your original question (apologies for the derail), what are your other options or what did you do previously? Safety is paramount and I think it is a bit risky with less than 2 weeks to go to the event.
  21. I think he is still on his way to finish...Froome and the other rider on their way down to their team bus probably. Or were you like to be making a funny
  22. Mmmm, that pic is sad...The reason for my question regarding the technicality was to ascertain whether I would be able to ride it on my rigid SS or need some gears and suspension. I would not contemplate taking a rigid SS to Eden Classic as I don't think I will enjoy it much and spend more time than I would like pushing. My skill level has definitely improved since first riding Eden in 2009 and I rode 95% this year. Yes, it is quite tough and some sections are steep and loose. I don't mind a short 'hike-a-bike' every now and again due to the technicality of the terrain or lack of skill on my side. Your event also had a reputation for being VERY technical previously, sometimes comparing certain sections to Eden. I understand that you need to grow your event but isn't this a bit extreme and scarring nature / taking away from what sets mtb apart from road?
  23. How 'technical' is it, wasn't technical part of the name previously? Compared to for example the Eden Classic?
  24. But only if it looks exactly like the OP's drawing
  25. I'm considering driving the almost 300km just to go ride this ramp!!!
