See there are about 2500 of us doing the short Argus, wish they could close one lane all the way to top of Llandudno and back on the saturday as the short Argus. Best bit of the route and can be a lot more social. Makes it a lot more bang for buck if coming from out of town.

Also, glad did not install all the panels possible, would be nice to get that 25% back on my second array on garage next year as its only available for 1 year.

Very nice, Those batteries are heavy though!! Mine is sitting next to my insured bikes, so they will probably go walkies first. Have added it to our house insurance though

I am impressed at how well the panels did during the rain on Monday in Cape Town. While it was pouring down, we were getting 1100w out of a possible 3800w. Ended the day on 100%, did have a low usage day though.

Rain makes it easier, less resistance...

Well done on the event - number pick up was quick, nice having some stalls at the end and some shade. Coffees, egg rolls and a coke at the end, lekker! Did have a laugh - someone from the deep South asked for milk alternatives, the alternatives were hot or cold

What is the benefit of a formal club?

The only reason people would join a club is CSA you have to be part of one. I am part of outriders for this reason. Also, Southern suburbs and Town are clicky, goes against the club vibe. Then there are committees, prefer cycling groups to be run by a benevolent dictator.

A question, my sister in law may be moving in next door. would it be possible to connect the inverter to a 3rd DB board? Just to power like lights and a plug circuit or two, depending on how many times we get invited over for braais.
