  1. I am not sure if they just did not post the eBikes times lower than 3:50 but wow there was some fine lines for that top spot!!
  2. What a joke. "Claimed risk of bikes hitting pedestrians" with no actual evidence of these being reported. Yet, the road 65m away, there have been many car accidents and cars hitting cyclists. How about they remove cars from beach road then if the city is worried about making the place safer.
  3. With the release of the Pfizer side effects and the high mortality rate from the jab I doubt the numbers are going to go anywhere soon.
  4. Agreed, its next level. Heaven forbid you indicate and over take when its safe to do so, the abuse you get from the other drivers...
  5. I guess you could add a 2.5mm shim under your cleat if you are hell bent, otherwise, go matchy matchy
  6. I ride the boys to school, there are a handful of other kids that ride in. We pass other kids that are pulling out of their drive way and then pass them while they sit in ques. It boggles my mind that drivers have such a "must get in front mentatlity" that they will over take a 6 year old, just to jump on the brakes and sit, then have the audacity to complain when he rides past them and bumps their car by mistake because they have left no space.
  7. The MTB ones also have those broomsticks for handlebars. Its like the MTBer with 800mm bars rocking up in the $ group, no thought to the other 400 riders he has to ride around. I could also rock up on a fixie with no brakes and keep up, do I do it, no as I dont want to ruin other people's day.
  8. Wow, the last time a thread exploded like this, someone bought what he thought was a Pinerallo and then we went along for the ride back to the bike shop!
  9. They should only get 4 AA batteries for the lap!
  10. I am just bleak there is no eBike race teams yet. Pure Savage E Like a super sticky bottle wit hyour team mate.
  11. My wife did not even fetch me, she only met me at the hospital. My whole family was there actually as nephew was being born!
  12. Offered a tube to someone this weekend, they looked a little poked. I think he had called his wife so refused the tube
  13. For making ones life easier, knowing where the efforts end can make a difference between sitting within the group or forever chasing on as went a little too hard at the start of a climb or was too far back when the group split etc. Like, if you know you just gotta hang your butt onto the group till that final bridge on Chappies, you can turn yourself inside out and hang on, rather than having to chase back down chappies.
  14. On the data thing, I dont believe in power vibes. But, looking at length of efforts etc makes a big difference when actually riding it. When you know that the top of Smits, that its full gas to the park gate, makes a big difference to the top of the hill. Same on M3, when you go under the twirly whirly, you know, only 200m more meters. Its easy to lose a wheel or miss a split if dont know this. Actual numbers maybe I dont find crucial, but knowing when the hammer goes down does help a lot.
  15. Should send them the data for when its a howling SE>
  16. You count Constania village as the peninsula?
  17. Do you have any other race results in the past 7 years. They probably have used your time from 7 years ago, but with the time penalty, 9:40 is about right.
  18. Should be around 200 large on the day.
  19. Will try not confuse your for Mr Keto on a Look
  20. I just need to not puncture like the last 3 times. Last year was close, 2:58:12 .
  21. There is also one at constania emporium. Would be great to get them added onto google maps/strava
