  1. Assuming that is a 2019 Rocky Mountain Element, it has a reach of 419mm. That means it is smaller than most current XC type bikes in their labelled small size. For someone like you a 460mm to 480mm reach would be a lot more "in range". Just a basic analysis
  2. More and more road bikes are coming out with UDH. The Trojan Hanger is doing its work
  3. Just had a look online now at a GX 90 kit. Converted price is 12k for a chainring, chain, cassette, shifter and derailleur. So will likely be more like 15k once tax and local margin is applied. Shimano Linkglide can be had for around half of that.
  4. Cycle Lab has the Marvel kits, which seem to be pretty similar. Otherwise plenty of online sellers have the listed like shredshed and trailtech
  5. Pretty sure the shock on that bike can be replaced by a "regular" one of the correct stoke and fitting length. The MTBR forums or good old Google can confirm
  6. Fit a dropper post and ride it. Replace bits and pieces as they wear out or break.
  7. It's the same post as the TransX EDP01. Review below: Review: TranzX EDP01 Wireless Electronic Dropper Post - Pinkbike
  8. Regular delivery option. Last order came through SAPO. The latest one appears to be with a Chinese courier
  9. Ordered a few things from AliExpress. Their shipping time estimates seem to be getting a lot better than a couple years back. You may have to deal with your bank, who could block the transaction as being suspicious. But it is usually a quick fix over the phone. I went through the process on Monday. Awaiting some Shimano brake bladders
  10. It was on the Italian channel on DSTV last year IIRC Edit: RAI is the channel
  11. Trek Top Fuel. Gen 3 if you are leaning more towards marathon and XC, Gen 4 if you are leaning more towards trail riding. Can also throw in the Pyga Tig as a good option as well
  12. When it comes to a second hand bicycle, that is a moot point. The KTM bicycle is decent spec. I had an older version of one a few years ago. Solid bike for commuting
  13. Google says the Versa can broadcast HR, depending on the model. I’d suggest getting an HR pod like a Polar H10 as a better option. Has Bluetooth (two connections) and ANT+ and is compatible with basically everything
  14. But they love cycling and their ads say they have it all??
  15. Shred Shed is solid. The owner, Hamilton, is a top guy. I’ve no problems in recommending his store
  16. Drove past this on the day. Looked very bad. The front of the car was badly mangled and the old lady who was driving it was in a state. Hope both cyclists recover.
  17. Are you talking about the 35mm SID? I had one for a while on my Top Fuel. Honestly performed way better than I expected it to (72kg odd rider on a variety of trails). I tried the stock damper and the Raceday damper and was equally impressed with both of them. I eventually swapped the SID for a Pike as I wanted to go 130mm up front on the Top Fuel. If I had to choose between a Fox 34 with a Fit 4 damper and the SID, I'd go SID every day of the week. It is just plusher and more comfortable to ride. Fox34 with a Grip 2 vs the SID would be a tougher choice. Just be aware that the first gen of these updated SID forks have well documented issues with loose bushings.
  18. Cetaphil Gel (NOT the lotion). Doesn't run off with sweat and does a great job in protecting from burns: Cetaphil Sun Spf50+ Gel 200ml | Dis-Chem
  19. Sounds like the bike just needs a bit of TLC from a decent mechanic, not a new groupset
  20. You won’t regret it. Indoor training is great for your fitness 👍🏻
  21. Speak to the guy who sold you the trainer and get the adaptors. Or ask him to pay for them if he said everything was included. Failing that, paying for a set of adaptors so you can use a trainer you have already bought seems like small school fees to pay
  22. If your trainer has the spacers that came with it, you should be able to fit it to the trainer whether your bike is 142mm or 148mm rear spaced. Confirm which spacing your bike has and fit the spacers accordingly. Use your bike’s through axle to do everything up. You might need to play with the limit and b-tension screws to get everything humming nicely.
  23. I would humbly suggest that drilling the frame is an utterly terrible idea. Ride with a Camelbak or similar if you need more fluids and storage space.
  24. Agree with the feedback given regarding the Titan and Scott. Going to throw another name in the hat. The Trek Top Fuel. A bit burlier than the Scott and Titan, but is super capable on everything from a mild trail loop to hitting some proper rowdy trails. There are several nice examples in the classifieds as well
  25. It will work with your setup easy peasy. Use the Zwift Click to change gears for when you do free rides or races. Workout resistance is controlled by the trainer, so gearing is irrelevant
