  1. If someone is quoting that price, they are trying to rob you. Have a look at my classifieds ad
  2. Seems like you need to join the club to ride there. Post below:
  3. How was the first ride? And please, please, please take that saddle bag off. It will ruin the dropper stanchion and limit how far you can drop the saddle. A hip pack will do a much better job
  4. Have a trawl through the classifieds and post back here. We're all pretty happy to have a look and help with some feedback. Trek Fuel EX, Specialized Stumpjumper, Giant Trance and many more would fit the bill for you
  5. Again, what type of riding are you looking to do? The Stance is a lighter weight more XC/Lite Trail type bike. The Fuel EX is more Trail/Lite Enduro bike.
  6. Sample of one. I've had several excellent Treks and great service from two of their dealers as well as a warranty claim that was smooth as silk. The Fuel EX is a smoking deal at the price. But as suggested earlier, buy the right bike for the type of riding you want to do. The Titans will be great for XC duty and can handle some trails, the Trek will be much happier hitting trails up to a few enduro lite lines but will be a bit lazier on the XC type stuff.
  7. There should be no scratches on the stanchions. None. Zero. If there are there is a problem. If yours have scratches, it is also poked
  8. Do Titan Bikes have the monopoly on correctly assembled Rockshox forks?
  9. Case in point today. Friend rented a bike from a big brand bike shop to ride today as their shock is being serviced. The rented bike was shanked. Creaks, rattles, loose headset, suspension felt like it had never been serviced and handed over dirtyAF. The manager or person responsible for that demo fleet should be fired cause anyone who demos that bike will not end up buying one after such a shoddy experience. The rental per day is also not cheap. If it was me I wouldn’t have ridden that bike and asked for my money back
  10. Reach out to Ciovita and see if they can help. I had something similar happen with a First Ascent product and they were able to repair it for me
  11. Sessioned some stuff at Grootfontein.
  12. All of a sudden there are several second hand Garmin watches for sale. Hopefully nothing nefarious
  13. I’d rather go for a 36 than the new Lyrik
  14. That Lyrik you are running is a sweet fork. I’d try find a new damper for it and send the other one away to be rebuilt. The new Lyrik appears to be a lot more progressive and not as comfortable as your version.
  15. Gold mags and a massive spoiler or you are not legit
  16. Share your setup then. Height, weight etc. You can lol all you want, but tyres are one part of the equation. That bike runs possibly the worst fork ever made as well as a very basic shock. If the pressure and sag aren’t correct then new tyres will do bugger all to help
  17. 140 what? PSI? Bar? Using a proper pressure gauge or the one on the pump. You still haven’t said what tyres they are not have you answered my question about your suspension setup. Seems you just want to drop some money on tyres without making sure they are the root cause of your problem
  18. You shouldn’t have to run the tyres at such low pressure to get traction. Try 1.5 up front and 1.7 out back and see how it goes. Out of curiosity have you set the pressures of the suspension front and rear at all to get the proper sag numbers?
  19. Yes, but to be fair that particular rock at Thaba is a known destroyer of wheelsets. Even South Enduro wheels have been killed by it. I should have known better 🙈
  20. 1.1 bar is way too low. That is a heavy bike with soft alloy rims, so wonder they are getting dinged. Need to be at least 1.5 bar and up (depending on your terrain and desired feel). Assuming you are on the SE5 or SE6 Bontrager tyres, get them at the right pressure and go ride. If they sold you the XR5, those tyres are too thin for an e-bike so a tougher set of tyres is a must IMO. Personally I went for the Maxxis Assegai in the DH casing for my Giant Trance X E+. The beefy casing and soft rubber means I have grip for days and don’t need to worry about punctures or dinging wheels.
