  2. http://www.stokesuspension.com/
  3. My Rocky mountain came with a rear remote lock out, i actually want to convert it to non remote ctd! hat the clutter on the handle bar
  4. you forgot to add "in my opinion" In my opinion you cannot even come close to comparing a pyga 110 and a banshee phantom. maybe an epic
  5. haha. i was being serious i promise... (Jokes it was sarcasm) True he should probably have used a foam pit on either side, but i am sure they would have done the math, but math doesn't help when you get the line wrong or disorientated.
  6. No they just built a loop and hoped for the best.
  7. Ahh ok, thanks for the response. So they not making money on the actual bike, just the workshop fee. I have no argument over your pricing. As someone said if the prices are too high for you then look elsewhere, ultimately the market will dictate if your pricing is too high or not. You will either make money or you wont and the business wont be viable. Im sure you have done your homework.
  8. One thing i don't understand is the Online and dealer structure working together.. Surely the reason you sell direct is to either make more profit yourself OR get the price of the bikes to be competitive (cutting out the dealer mark up) Obviously you give your dealers a discount on the RRP and then technically they sell the bike at RRP otherwise the consumer would just buy direct. And you promise to your dealers that you wont undercut them on pricing. What happens when you have sales? or discounts ? like your launch discounts.. do you still offer the dealer a discount on those offers? If you do, then i would encourage everyone to just order through their local LBS (or your dealers) because technically you shouldn't be paying anymore than direct and would be building a good relationship with a shop which would be more inclined to help you out in "those" situations (you know, the friday afternoon glitch and i'm racing saturday morning situations)
  9. um... and from what experience do you make this statement?? Iv actually set up one of these for someone. and was very easy to get the correct drop with the right stem Just messing around, i have fitted a 29er wheel with a narrow 2.0 tyre to a anthem 27.5 and there was actually enough clearance. If the frame is designed properly there shouldnt be much of a penalty To add: Its been speccced with an 80mm fork, which brings the front down
  10. The bike comes with Stans Arch EX rims with Rim tape..... are you trying to be difficult?? if it didnt come tubeless, 2 seconds and a bit of sealant and they tubeless.... which you can do with a foot pump on those rims
  11. I got to take a good close look at Stephan Sahms bike, with a bit of his own handy work he managed to mount a second bottle cage inside the front triangle, mounted slightly away from the seattube with a "spacer" (homemade) (exactly where Karls "bomb" is) pretty nifty. he said he hates mounting a bottle cage on his seat post as he says it messes with the bikes centre of gravity (many opinions on that i guess) Interestingly enough, we asked him what he thinks of the Di2 he was running, his words "do you want an honest answer?" he said " he doesn't like the feel of the shifters, but that it does work well"
  12. What makes it famous is the uniqueness of the route, taking it down the N2/N1 et etc. detracts from what makes it special! otherwise its just another race
  13. no, not "holier than thou" at all. Its just a damn cycle race, there are many many others, and always will be. GO ride somewhere else, for the enjoyment of riding your bike. No one cares about your argus time other than yourself. And by you, I mean everyone
  14. Is the Argus (cpct) really the B all and end all of your cycling careers? There are bigger things happening in life than guys wanting to get their beloved "sub 3" in the argus! There are other races out there. MTB races have to be cancelled/altered all the time due to weather and unforseen circumstances. Grow up
  15. This is the most pathetic and selfish argument i have ever heard, go crawl under a rock and stay there.
  16. Ditch the SRAM and go for a Race Face direct mount crank! cannot beat their price to weight ratio!
  17. Im sorry - 46k for a rigid x0x9 mechanical brake bike.... I'm never one to complain about bike pricing but......
  18. Nolan Hoffman to his coach "does my bum look big in these pants?"
  19. Excuse me for racial profiling - but there is no way she is the owner of that bike
  20. You sound like someone i would not invite for a group ride
