If you trail run or MTB with earphones in, i'm afraid we cannot be friends (Road riding too) ill let road running slide (purely because its so damn boring) I go into the mountains to get away from the noise. I went riding with a mate in the alps last year, and all the trail riders have bells on their bikes. Its common courtesy over there, and the other trail users step aside and greet with a smile. Completely stress free.

They were so disgusted by them that they were ashamed and handed themselves into the police

Most of the time the guys who are in the break all day eventually get spat out the back after being caught by the bunch - even world champs

I love the way most guys on here seem to think there is only one style of MTBing... Marathon riding. Its multi day stage races or nothing or am i just generalising??

Had the privilege of riding Stelvio in june 2012 its an amazing place! Was on my mountain bike though. Cant wait too see the guys go up there today !!

Ummmmmm....... most (decent) baggies are made from pretty durable fabric, and when you fall at least they slide over the bibs reducing the chance of getting serious roasties... most lycra bibs just tear

This may be true, but i have rocked up at their premises twice with fox forks that needed servicing, and they have helped me out immediately..

Brilliant race! awesome route! nice technical single track, nice flowing single track, a great climb to sort things out, small seeded start groups and the weather held out!

Do you guys go do races just to be seeded for the Argus?? is the argus everything?? why not do other races because you enjoy cycling and racing and in doing so supports local cycling and creates more interest.? or is the argus the "be all and end all" ?? As much as you don't like it, the seeding system makes a lot of sense, and it rewards the guys who are out there racing more frequently and are making an effort.

in 2011 a mate and i rode in M group, i did 3h8m and blew on suikerbossie, he managed to do 3h0m28s

It seems that because of the start group/times/sizes changes etc, Group B (for instance) is not the equivalent of group B last year…. or am i just wrong…

I very much think it will void the warranty, but just insure the frame and all is good...
