  1. It seems that Ninos epic tires have more holes in them though...😜
  2. Wind is hectic on route today.
  3. Wow, amazing ride by Beers so far today. Well done recovering from that stomach bug. I hope he gets back to full flight before the end of the week.
  4. Even the Scott backup team had a rear puncture just now. Those aspen tires look paper thin.
  5. Also have a Elemnt Bolt with no issues. Tickr also no issues so far. Friend however also recently had issues with his bolt not liking water/sweat.
  6. Install the old cassette again and test if the noise is gone? Should then definitely know if it is the cassette.
  7. Where is cannondale factory racing?
  8. I would reduce the pre race liquid intake a bit. Also, I found during hard efforts/racing more sweating results in less peeing. So just ride harder😜
  9. Will be my first ultra event. Very excited! Any tips for charging bike gps (wahoo elemnt bolt) while riding? Is a normal power bank sufficient? I see extreme lights has a nice option to charge usb devices from the light battery.
  10. Also learnt it the hard way. Do not disassemble a sti lever. Ever. Once those springs disengage it is game over.
  11. Where is Roglic?
  12. Is ss showing strade bianchi?
  13. Jeez, Christiaan demolished the vets again. Well done!! Masjien! I would love to see what he will do racing with the elites…
  14. Saw them now on facebook as well… nice pictures of the bikes from Cyclelab🤦🏼‍♂️
  15. Will de Villiers be there as well?
  16. But have they conquered the 16th edition of the Momentum Medical Scheme Attakwas Extreme, presented by Biogen.? 😁
  17. I remember she was in the top 10 overall of the swartberg extreme as well. Must be the karoo air/environment that really suits her?
  18. Hahaha me too… She really is a monster on these ultra endurance distances. Is she going/allowed to ride at the epic?
  19. De Villiers is the queen of the Attakwas. Demolished the field.

    Attakwas 2022

The women's race was blown apart early on already by the @visitoudtshoorn local @YolandeDV7. With @amymacmtb's withdrawal and @MariskeStrauss' mystery struggles the closest completion is offered by @Yolandi_duToit & @Se_Hill, but they were over 10 minutes back at the QOM Point.

    Attakwas 2022

Simon Andreassen leading with 10km to go. Second Tristan Nortje and Beers in 3rd
  22. Also note that the maxi crew bus is the noisy one. I managed to find a low mileage maxi comfortline. Not noisy inside at all. like mentioned, great to have the maxi space when needed. We managed to fit 7 adults with their luggage in the maxi and drove from George to JHB… Still very comfortable, even the adults in the rear seats were fine. Just keep on looking, one will pop up😁
  23. I recently bought a 2019 caddy maxi 2.0 diesel. Best car I have ever owned. The versatility of the maxi is great. I remove the last row of seats to fit my bicycle inside without even touching the middle row seats. Even camping trips are easy, as you can pack it to the roof with the rear seat removed. Plenty space. Easy to transport large items like tredmills and large furniture pieces with all rear seats removed. Very economical, I also managed 5.2l/100km on our last trip to george. It is just so comfortable on the open road. Did some grave and jeep tracks with it during the holiday, the ground clearance is also surprisingly good. In short, I was in the same boat and rather opted foe the maxi. I do not regret it at all. Very practical vehicle👌🏻
  24. Also, Pieter du Toit to Giant. Wonder if it is the only move at Pyga Eurosteel?
  25. Hi Reinet. I used Zoom for my mothers memorial service in September. I had to purchase the pro version for the day (1 month subscription) to allow for a meeting longer than 30 min. That also allowed the service to be recorded, downloadable using a link afterwards. It is a bit of admin though, but worked quite well. I used my own cellphone plugged into a charger to host and record the “zoom meeting” and mounted on a tripod. The complete meeting used about 300mb of mobile data. I distributed the meeting link a few hours before the service to the relevant whatsapp groups/platforms. You are welcome to pm me for more details on the meeting settings etc. I would have liked to assist in person, but we are on route to George on Wednesday.
