  1. Also very very nice!! Price / Weight?
  2. Geez, this thing is popular! Gonna have to start charging you all just to touch it! Daemon, what size seat post do you have? 27.2mm?
  3. You can borrow mine for the hub ride on sat if you want? Its actually very comfy, i rode 94.7 twice on it this year, and i didnt hurt at all! Let me know if you will be there on sat.
  4. What about wheels and a groupset?
  5. Sounds good, but those numbers dont add up. 28.5 + 36 + 13.8 + 23.5 = 101.8km? Oh ok, i see they dont include the TTT in the calc, that makes it 73.3.
  6. Geez, i look terrible! But then again this was after 1 hours sleep, and the graveyard shift ride from 3h20 till just after 5 this morning. Wasnt too worried about looks, more on getting the 2 laps over with!
  7. My team IanJ - 340 Sonic - 341 Me - 342 And Amateur on the FNB Hub Team - 568 Thanks, very nice pics!
  8. I think you mean 2007 dude!
  9. Thats not true at all. 90% of the time i go into a shop is to browse, and to see if they have anything interesting or new. Sometimes im there to look at a product in the flesh, that i have seen advertised in the magazines or the net. I like to shop around for the best price, and to get the guys opinions on the stuff. I do a lot of research on things before i buy, and normally i find the shop assistants more or a nucance than a help. i can tell in 5 seconds if they know what they are talking about, and if they dont i politley say thanks and move on. If i want help i ask for it, and i never buy at the first shop i walk into.
  10. Ill be there as well and i'm sure Amateur will join us too.
  11. Did Gavin with the award for the rider with a disability?
  12. Well done Taylorchick and Robbie! Could not think of two more deserving riders to take the awards!
  13. Very very nice!! And judging by your times in the last 2 races its as fast as it looks!!!
  14. Thats like asking everyone what their favourite colour is! be prepared for a hundred different answers. The best saddle is the one that fits you best. The one you can sit on for an entire day while out training, and then get onto it a few days later and race hard. I always rated the Arione, but this weekend I rode the 94.7 twice on a 100g piece of carbon, and im 100% today. No worse off than when i did 230km on my Arione. So really it depends on you, how much you weigh, how hard you race, and how much you want to spend. There is no 'best' and 'most comfortable' saddle...
  15. After reading that article on the Idol from that link that you posted this morning, i was really impressed with it. Fully hand made in Italy, and it has the best look of the 3 in my opinion. That would be my choice and so what if you put Shimano on?? if that worries you then go for Chorus. But if it was my money i would go for the De Rosa, then the Giant, and lastly the Specialized. After seeing Mr Mac's new Giant Advanced on sunday i think ive changed my opinion on Giant Carbon bikes. That frameset is very very nice! Suppose it also depends if you want the ISP or not, as the Spec doesnt have one...
  16. Thanks guys, you make me fell short! Mmm, so what we are saying is i must try a 56 before i get my next dale. Thats ok, the smaller frame = lighter and stiffer!
  17. Mmm, been wondering about this for a while, but at 1.83m is my 58cm dale too big for me??
  18. I got the bearings replaced in my front Ksyrium SL wheel with generics for R100 for the pair at Illovo Cycles.
  19. Looks like a girl, maybe snapshot??
  20. Yeah that was Jason, we passed him just after the turn around!
  21. Yeah well done guys!! In the last few km i kept seeing your Germiston Wheelers shirts on the front setting the pace, when it seemed that no-one else was willing to do anything about it! Nice riding with again frosty, and meeting you 1 hill! see you guys next weekend then!
