  1. The entire site in Comic Sans, now it all makes sense to me.
  2. On the Racetec results site you can search by chip number. See if this gets you a step closer: http://results.racetec.co.za/results_by_person.aspx?PID=815106
  3. Hopeful this one will go ahead, but will keep off entering seeing as Amashova just officially cancelled a while back. But keen on having another go at Tom Jenkins,
  4. A small group of us ride almost every weekend either Saturday or Sunday. Stupidly slow and not much climbing yet as there are some absolute beginners in there, but hoping to do a full loop in the not to distant future. You are welcome to join, PM me if you want details.
  5. Thanks for all the input, I decided against the Avalanche as I did not quite trust the no name shock. Spent a bit more and got the Valenti VR-X, which comes with proper XT components and a Rockshox fork, still a bit on the heavy side, but so far really enjoying the upgrade to a proper fork and disk brakes.

  7. I like the idea of having a product good enough that people want to pay to keep it going, even if they can use it for free. For now it is not worth it for me yet, but as they add features it might become one day. But for now I will be working against the blatant favoritism to the TdF with my own little Giro profile edit...
  8. Looks like an interesting concept, but without Wahoo support yet there is no way I can use it. Looks like TrainerRoad lite basically.
  9. Unfortaunately there is a spend limit of R2000 per month, so the max you will get back is R1000. Souce : http://www.hr.uct.ac.za/sites/default/files/image_tool/images/236/remuneration/healthcare/discovery/HealthyGear.pdf
  10. Also be sure to check on what platforms these are available. Zwift is nice just on my android phone, but have to hold off on testing Sufferfest until I get a ANT+ dongle to connect the PC, no android app available.
  11. https://www.cyclelab.com/product/wahoo-kickr-snap-2-0-trainer-1 or any smart trainer under R5k
  12. So for this to work you run zwift normally on your laptop, mac, apple tv or whatever. And also run the companion app on your phone. Make sure they are on the same wifi. Then when they are connected you can choose to use your phone instead of the main device to connect to sensors by using the gear icon top right on the gear selection screen. My laptop is right in front of my bike on a counter, my phone right next to it. It just seems the laptop BT is crap, or phone is more reliable. IF you have more problems you can move the phone next to the sensors, as long as it is still on the same wifi as the laptop.
  13. I found my laptop drops the connection all the time, but using my phone and the companion app you can connect through the BT on your phone, which works much better. Both for PM and HR.
  14. Someone flagged the ride . Nice
  15. Gonna be a bit hard doing any swimming or running in the next 3 weeks. At least my bike leg is going to be amazing with all the indoor training I am getting in now. Hoping to hear it is postponed soon.
  16. A double might be enough to make the trip a bit more worth it. Saturday chilling with the slower friends, and Sunday trying for sub 3, about until the first hill when I realize I should have trained more.
  17. How are the water temps swimming there? Would you need a wetsuit yet?
  18. Still every device swap does it for me now. Once I open the site on a new device I am logged out, with a small message saying successfully logged out, then I log back in and can go from there. Minor annoyance, but not the end of the world
  19. Update on the login issue. Opening the site at home logged me out and took me to the login page, then same thing this morning after logging in at home when opening the site on work laptop was instantly logged out and shown the login page. Logged in both times and good to go, will check if it kicks me out again after work on home laptop.
  20. It is at intervals more than a week at least, longer than I can easily remember the last time, so will check here next time it happens to see if there is a pattern. If I log in once when prompted, I am good till in a week or so, will see if I can keep track to see something more precise. It happens whether I use only one device or switch, not either on specifically. I log in on 3 different computers, all windows with the latest chrome (Version 79.0.3945.130 (Official Build) (64-bit) currently.
  21. Mine also asks me to login again from time to time, not sure if you have an expiry on cookies or something like that, but it seems like regular intervals I get logged out.
  22. No rush, I do not use the auto intervals that much. Just thought you could use the data to help debugging. Great tool by the way, thanks for the effort.
  23. Hi David, I think something went wrong on my wattbike ride from yesterday. I did several quite distinct intervals, but as in the picture no intervals were detected. The activity number is : 3083065210
  24. Honestly this race has my favorite medal and I would gladly pay R20 for it. Most other races can keep their medals, or give me a craft beer thanks.
