I wish you could do the same study on the Virgin active clubs in Pretoria. Every morning I mad when I see she amount of energy being wasted. They have a pool slap bang in the center of the gym, they heat the water to +24C at the same time they try to cool they try to cool the club to sub 22C. Then it is 12C outside, but no outside air is used to cool the club, they circulate the air inside and try to cool that. Little to no insulation in the roof. Who design these places.

I like your idea with Mapsource. nice and clear. i assume you have gStart also installed. Can you comminicate with Garmin Training center?

did you install the garmin usb driver, i have the 305 and sometimes i need to re install the driver. dont know if you have the same issue.

Wow, If my friend sees them imp in serious sh!t.... The 205W has a bit more, at least it has a QWERTY keyboard. all these features are nice, but not that important except the Warn when driving faster than allowed, I wish I had this. How did you reprogram the keyboard of the 200W, my father has one and is constantly bitching about it. I bought the Garmin in the USA, there maps are a lot better, it even warned me about speed limits, back in SA it stopped doing it, and Garmin said the maps will be updated for SA.

Road group rides on weekends in centurion area. i looked on the cycle lab website but they dont show routes or times. Im looking for a group close to highveld centurion, 70km at a reasionable pase.

I have the garmin nuvi 205W and a friend of mine have the Tom tom and we compare on a regular besis. And to tell you the truth they are almost the same. routing time are both very quick. both are easy to operate. but i wont tell him that. I still send him hand drawn maps....

I use this site to plot route that i plan to ride, it can give you the route profile. very cool.

Check the spacers behind the cluster. I have a shimano on my road bike but use Campac on trainer and gearing is 98% fine.

If it is half as nice as the Previous Charity ride it will be worth going. Count me in. Don’t make the route to short. Online registration is ok with me. No reward is needed, we do charity no to be seen as heroes, we should do it with Love.

You can ge a TV card for your PC. (I recomend a external) Record the TDF on your pvr and later play it back while recording to you pc. OR Record the TDF directly to your PC. 4 hours of TFD = +- 10 GB. Then compress the data and burn it to DVD.

the spinning instructors @ centurion are very good. and those spinning bikes with the tv's are also very nice. Just a word of advice, DONT LEAVE YOUR LAPTOP IN YOU CAR. they have a reputation for stealing laptops, even when out of sight. VA said they are not responsable and wont do anything to curb this problem.

The edge 305 also have a Training partner. I have the 305 for almost a year and are very happy.
