you can always use www.mapmyride and trace the road, it will generate a route profile. it is not 100% acurate but you will get a good idea of the profile.

Dont be so sure about that. im visiting the USA dont know east form west, but with my Edge305 I plan my route and follow the map without getting lost. I found some nice routes on mapmyride.com My edge is almost 2 weeks old and i already cant go without it.

People should aim for a sub 2:30 with the distance shortened to 90km and some hills removed. at this stage I'm not riding. Maybe ill change my mind later.

To be honest I cant see why they increased the price, there are more people doing this race than normal races it should be the same maybe less. Paying R265.00 for a 90km race, I don't think so. tell that to the Argus and 94.7 people. Argus still isn't 500 bucks a skull... not yet anyway. At the rate things are going Im not doing the 94.7 or the Argus, I will rather do the more challenging events like telkom, race for victory ect. MB at Groenkloof are still affordable. (organizers are slowly killing the hen that lays the golden eggs)

At the rate this is going I wont have a license before next year, then they can just issue me a 2010 license It seems that everyone that applied before Jan is having problems, so much for avoiding the rush. Upgrade your license to racing that way you can start in you age group or move "back" and start with the A bunch. One loop hole in the system that you can use. That is if you can get a license before the race. I applied in 2008 December and im still waiting!!
