  1. Yeah jonkers bottom to the saddle with a garmin barometric GPS 600 odd meters, with strava app 900 odd meters, slight difference lol
  2. Read my earlier post they have no issue with returns but its at your cost to get there and back again with a 10% fee same as CWC and other online stores, Totally legal but not worth it, cheaper to take a R100 loss and sell it here for R100 less than asking price.
  3. Problem here is it takes only 1 single cyclist to pi$$ off thousands of motorists.

  5. I find the entire mentality Ironic, when cyclists die we are the first to scream and shout and point fingers at egotistical, testosterone induced, impatient, arrogant, and aggressive drivers that hate cyclists. Sadly this is the mentality of 99% of vehicle drivers and then we scream with tears in our eyes they should obey the laws, follow the speed limit, drive considerately etc. Which is a valid plea. But ......... Then we go @#$@# it up by the mentality that if i cycle alone ill follow the rules but hell if I am in a bunch the rules don't apply to me and stopping at robots is just not an option due to training analysis and logistical issues of stopping. Well being deadly honest here chaps and roast me away.... But you guys with this mentality are @#$@#ing up the reputation of cyclists everywhere, you guys are the excuse used by motorists why they should not accommodate cyclists, "cyclists keep on breaking the law so if they get hit by us its their fault" Follow the damn law, if you expect others to follow the law you need to do the same. I don't care how that affects your training, if there is enough of a shoulder to bunch in the shoulder, then by all means do it. But if there is no shoulder or a thin shoulder, or a robot approaching you thin out into single file and you stop. If you don't like doing this then i suggest you find a road where this wont be an issue. i.e. long road with minimal traffic, broad shoulders, and no robots.
  6. Fixed it.
  7. Fox is overpriced crap did nobody tell you this?
  8. use a proper bike
  9. That makes no sense whatsoever.. though i catch what you are trying to say after some decryption
  10. Azonic that doesn't help the cause, if a single cyclist jumps a robot or a bunch jumps a robot, the latter is actually even worse even though there are logistics involved as you say, I don't mean to roast you, but if you cycle on a section where you know there are robots coming then you spread out and anticipate having to stop. All the motorists see is theres another bunch of arrogant cyclists breaking the law, and if they can do it so can we. Its a culture change that needs to happen with cars and cyclists. And law's will need to be followed by both groups.
  11. Yup it supports Nike Polar and Garmin. And no you have to activate the various benefits.
  12. Forerunner 210 have mine for gyming and non cycling exercise
  13. Since the tracks change all the time i tend to use private segments and update them for a realistic look, but generally i just use it 1 for fun to see how i compare relatively to my buddies. 2 And its awesome to see the progress made over the course of a year.
  14. People shouldnt get hyped up over strava, really, almost all GPS's give elevetion differences, cell phones are'nt nearly as acurate in recording true speed and elevation as they should be, different cellphones also use different accelerometers, theres no allowance for head or tail winds or any other factor, etc etc etc. Strava is simply a toy which you use to compete against your mates for fun besides that it serves no real function. The segments are flawed as well, I cut a 6km section of a specific segment, and it still placed me 3rd in that segment with 3 other people that took the same shortcut.
  15. Insurance claim, shiny new frame, problem solved.
  16. lol all that effort you must be an ex smoker looking for something to keep your hands busy with
  17. RTFM?? Ok what do you need help with ol chap.
  18. Moving Time: includes only the time you were moving Time: includes time moving and time not moving (if Auto Pause is off) Elapsed Time: includes time between when timer is started, stopped, and reset (includes Auto Pause or manual stoppage of the timer) It seems as if the biggest difference between "Time" and "Elapsed Time" is whether or not you are using the Auto Pause function. Time: 1:45:18 Moving Time: 1:44:45 Elapsed Time: 2:13:54
  19. only garmin, nike, and polar devices can upload.
  20. you forgot training peaks
  21. Check your spam folder dude, and if you can log in you are active already, I found it simple straightforward and easy to use. And i joined while they were still in beta having huge problems. There was nothing worse than working with the SA-Active people so I am happy they up'ed their game.
  22. Now that is one damn ugly bike.
  23. They do but that will only last so long mate. The sakuma, still had patric's hand in it, and the only other new bike I am aware off is the Jabula and Zama, which you hear absolutely nothing about. If Pat keeps on bringing out better bikes than what morewood can manage they will be fighting with silverback one of these days for market share. They need to up their game, They have the name, they have the following but they are slipping badly.
  24. I suspect Morewood without Patrick is a dead horse. Lets face it theres been nothing forthcomming from Morewood since he left, and his first toy the Pyga is already a hit. I dont think the morewood brand will last too long to be honest.
  25. Yup i go once yearly as your setup changes as you progress, i suspect i can get the same setup (seatpost height wise) if i take about 1cm of my stem, should counter the lack of flexibility in my lower back. But i need to get fit and strong again before i go for the next setup. Have to say so far dropping the seatpost, i havent felt any effects in the legs, I just ride with that feeling where you know your setup is'nt right.
