  1. Voodo thats because shaved legs threads are generally boring and plastered all over the interwebs, although beavers are plastered all over the interwebs they so much more entertaining than men with shaved legs.
  2. firstly i got my pubes when i was 8 and secondly, i dont seem to have that problem at all i have bush and beard and have no issues in the getting some dept.
  3. Yup i no longer look anywhere else for "reviews" most other sites are hogwash.
  4. If you want to read proper reviews bikeradar is not necesarily a good place to do so, read places like twentynineinches.com mbr.co.uk, where they actually keep the bikes for months and try different configurations varying terrains etc then they review it by people that have been pro riders and have been in the business for years. Most other places i find is some numbnuts that got on the bike did 10km with it and then thinks he is qualified to write a review.
  5. Yup this man makes sense and in refrence to bottoming out your pyga, take it for a test, its designed and crafted by patrick morewood for gawds sake, the man is a design legend, he hasnt made an average bike yet, i doubt he is going to start now. But yeah def RM or Pyga.
  6. check obike.co.za
  7. beginner skills courses are totally beginner, you will learn the basics of a bike, how to change a tyre blah blah, and maybe how to put your knee out while conering, how to feather your breaks and doing a bunny hop over a log. Basically these are desinged for women Intermediate to advnaced courses are for those that want to learn proper technique. If you want to spend the money.
  8. I quite like the ikon's but not in wet conditions, packs mud too easily. but besides that its a great tyre.
  9. Why becuase you didnt get the humor in that sentance?
  10. Its a standard thing with Conti, they put a wax gell on the inside of the tyre to protect the compound in storage, all you do is take a hard brush, scrub the inside for about 5 mins with a soapy solution to get rid of the waxy solution, then add your one cup stans, seal the tyre and give it a spin to seal any tiny pinholes that might be in the sidewall and your good to go.
  11. Tubless ready refers to the bead of the tyre, that is shaped like a proper UST tyre so it will "lock" into place, the sidewalls on Tubless ready tyres are generally not reinforced to the extent of a proper UST version. Hence UST tyres are normally heavier but offer more sidewall protection, Tubeless ready tyres have a bead that will lock into place on UST rims, but the sidewalls are not as fortified, hence you get a lighter tyre but more risk on sidewall tears. The reason they do this now is becuase people try and take rubber with a normal bead convert them to tubless and then they are suprised when the tyre creeps of the rim under heavy cornering.
  12. Much much better, great balance between grip rolling resistance, and shedding mud. found the raceking excellent rolling resistance, but poor grip, old mtn king too sketchy if not setup properly. The new mtn king 2 has suprising good grip and rolling resistance too, but its a bit of overkill in most situations. x-kings are alot like rocket ron's but i find they are more predicatable, better sidewalls and they last longer.
  13. you recon wrong mate: Currently riding Maxxis, But the new conti's are better than the maxxis. I use to run Mountain king2's and x-king rear, and in summer x-king x-king, probably the best setups out there on the market. Problem with conti Mnt king (version 1) was that the tyre had a very small sweetspot pressure wise, once you got the ideal pressure they were awesome, but miss it by a little bit and they sucked. Youll also find that most crossmark fans are up in Jozi, you do see some people in the cape use them on the rear in summer, but few and far between. They dont hold up to cape weather and terrain. some of the real race snakes do chance them. I have had good results on the maxxis Ikon and Aspen in summer but still nowhere near as good as the conti's are. the winning XC combinations for me are X-king/X-king Rocket Ron/Raching ralph sugauro/X-king And then only ikon/aspen

  21. Yeah ive posted this before, the guy who got bliksemed had the right etiquette, he asked the guy in front on plenty of occasions if he can have track, and he asked nicely, you will notice there are multiple run off areas where the slower guy could have let him pass without even breaking his speed. So the guy in front was guilty and actually got sentenced eventually. However I havent come accross anyone that doesnt give me track, most people get nervous when a faster rider is behind them and then they pull over. The guy in front here is just a complete ********. And i think if there really was a case like this i would simply stop for 2 minutes and then start again. Nobody is going to die if he/she has to stop.
  23. Nee jy kan nie alu regmaak nie.
