  2. Great choice, owned 3 sets on various bikes and mine has never let me down.
  3. Ridden with both and whilst baggies are more manly and have more pocketsi confess to preferring bibs - less chafing
  4. Should fit, you will however need to change chain as well to 10spd
  5. Would any of you want to stand in one spot for 6-8hours with nothing to do but hold a cardboard up proclaiming your plight or for that matter helping people in and out of their parking spots? I would not.
  6. Have fitted one myself. Helps a lot on the road/trial and even races to help clear the wY ☺
  7. Bottomline - when you buy a car/trailer etc - you should know that your license plate should never be obscured. Easy pickings for the fuzz.
  8. Enjoy bud, wish i could go with
  9. You have my vote. Nothing irritates me more than a couple of dorks blocking the trial with no thought of other cyclist.
  10. Some more detail on the lighter please - Zippo or Big?
  11. Normal mail - my experience, on avg week and a half to 2 weeks
  12. Both wheels or just the back - if back only, start with freewheel body, just be carefull when removing the freewheel body as the pawls can go flying once dislodged.
  13. Use both lenser and magiclight myself, although either one would suffice by themselves. Had my wife sew me a piece of elastic with some velcro which i use to tie lenser to helmet as i found that their headmount to be to cumbersome for easy helmet use
  14. Seats you talking of are -Brooks saddles, have a look on chain reaction. Dont know of anyone who stocks locally in Pta. Try Bruce Reynecke Cycles, sure they can order
  15. Used to ride SPD, switched over to Candy2 18mnths ago. Still smilling, agree they have better floating abillity and maintenance not really a problem, only had to service my drive side recently. Can easily do it yourself.
  16. Most catering supply places stock them, used in their whipped cream dispensers
  17. Presently on Formula-the One, only other brake i would chose for stopping power would be Magura 8's
  18. Presently on a Fox RLC 100 on my Santa Cruz Tallboy, but it got damaged. Replacing with a Fox Talas Terralocig - can adjust travel from 95-120, sweet. Tad expensive though
  19. Was on anormal Fox 100 RLC on my Santa Cruz Tallboy but moving to Fox Talas Terralocig. Can adjust travel from 95-120. Tad expensive though - hope it is worth it
  20. Using rock shox reverb myself and experienced teething problems at first, factory fault. They replaced mine with new one - works like a bomb now. Good luck
  21. Never ride without a spare myself. Saved me from a long walk twice now. Just remeber to pack a proper allan key to losen derailer as some of the multi tool allan keys are to akward to use because of the deep recession of derailler bolt. Price ( my experience):R80 - 160
  22. Agree, Saguaro front & Aka (1.9 / 2) at back is a great combination. Having said that i ride TNT (geax equivalent to UST) and it was a bitch to fit the Aka. No problems with Saguaro
  23. Opening day was a bit of a disappointment. Shop still in disarry, with no real specials so to speak off
  24. Buycycle.co.za carries stock and yes should not have any problems with FD. Will however need to drop the height of the FD slightly to accommodate smaller chainring. Regards
  25. had a similar problem on my Orbea - apply some copper compound to seat post on installation, let it dry for a day or two and you shoud be fixed.
