  1. In summary: definitely maybe
  2. Hi, I've ridden the Spark quite a bit. Currently the owner of the new Trance 29'er and my neighbor owns the Spark. In terms of comparing OUR bikes, he has narrower rims and more trail focused tyres on, my bike came std with wider rims (30mm internal) and DHF / DHR tyres which grip like its nobody's business, but are a bit slower to pedal to the top.His has rmote lock out, mine is analoqgueMy bike came with DVO's Topaz shock that has a piggy back Other than that they are both carbon frame, dropper posts, wide bars, 1x12, etc, etc. If I could answer your question as short as possible. The Spark is closer to a stage / marathon type trail bike, where the Trance leans more toward being a proper all mountain bike. I've ridden the new alu Trance with a normal shock and even that one felt more like it wants to play than cover miles. It is still a good miles bike, just feels a bit more comfortable on rougher stuff. I'm sure either will be great, so best would be to ride a new Trance and then decide from there.
  3. Do it
  4. Used fhose for quite a while. Back when they were still maroon. When I changed to Vater I first played the Recording model which was closest in feel to the Weckls, with the balance more towards I liked. When they launched the LJR signature sticks I found exactly what I wanted. Have been playing them since. On the odd occasions I'll use the 5AXD stick when I need extra beef for outdoors or big shows.

  15. OE parts carry international warranty and under distribution agreements have to be honored by local agents. Aftermarket parts generally have to go throuth the retailer you bought it from, but most (more better) agents will look after some warranty cases where it makes sense. Canyon have an agreement in place with SRAM SA (Cape Cycle Systems) , not sure about Shimano (Coolheat)
  16. Kimi should have stepped down. Go to WRX or something
  17. Hi, have a read here: https://www.bikehub.co.za/features/_/gear/reviews/unboxing-canyon-aeroad-cf-slx-r7401 Regarding duty I received some info from UPS last week: - Please note that vat is calculated as follow customs value x 10% + customs value x 15 %- Example 100.00 customs value x 10% = 110 x 15% = 16.50 plus 15 % of the customs duty.- No VAT and duty on shipping costs.

  21. My wife has just messaged me to say that two of her running friends were attacked on Zevenwacht just past Bakwena Spa this morning. All their stuff stolen and the one lady badly hit with a pipe. Freaking sucks as I've always felt safe to ride on my own there. Seemingly not anymore. Stay safe out there peeps
