rode next to a guy in Randburg that was seeded in A, he was struggling. So I had a chat, says he only started riding 8 months ago, he has no idea why they stuck him in A
I also saw a couple of earlier seedings really battling and wondered how they managed to get there.

I managed to get a nice one of myself ????
Well done to everyone who finished! I managed a 3:40 after starting in L group at 7:15.
I was also a bit annoyed with the entrance from N1 north as I arrived 3 km before the Rand Show off ramp at around 5:45. I guess the que to the offramp was more than 3 km long and yet so many people just skipped the que to go to the front and push in - I just put my friendly race face on and let them be and said to myself they probably over slept and were very late for their start times. - hopefully they will get up earlier next time ????
For some reason I battled a bit with the hills this year - maybe I do better if they are placed in the first half of the route.
It was a great morning ride with like minded people ????

I am sure that I was also promised a refund .... Let me check my inbox
How ?
And market saturation ? My one staff member bought disinfectants and now cannot give the stuff away as everyone has some !
How?
Hard work, marketing to the right end user. Having the right product. But if you give up before you have even started or considered it, well then it won't work.
Non Toxic disinfectants!
No Kidding. I have the opportunity.
So I am wondering if I could cycle to work during the Lockdown? It has been so busy by our company 7 days a week during the last 2 weeks and I have had no time to get onto the bike. Yesterday late afternoon I saw many guys on MTB's riding and will probably see the same today as they try to get those few last km's in before being confined to their homes.
But back to my question, since I have a permit to get to work and back which is about 22km's one way. I used to cycle it often about 10 years ago but nowadays the traffic and risks are too much and I rather drive. With the Lockdown traffic could be so little that a cycle to work and back home could be a real option again. That would be really awesome!
If I had 60 K for a bike - I would invest the money in Hand Sanitizer and buy a bike for 120 K next week!
I have the 1 x 11 Rival 1 with Apex shifters combo
42 front and 11 - 42 in the back
Love it! When time comes to replace the chainwheel I will definitely put a 44 on it and ...
If I ever get to the point of getting a second wheelset then I might consider an XD hub with 10-42 which will complement the setup on the down and straights.
Can't fault the setup - with already 3800 km's on it and going smooth and strong.
Would love to do it again.
Anyone else still waiting for their official result?

Thanks Frosty. I was looking for the start batch data since it was always available with the RaceTec timing. B.T.W I see on FinishTime website it refers to RaceTec on the bottom - same company?
