I did not yet get any response from the AliExpress online store, and to be honest I gave up on it and accepted the fact that it was a mistake to import directly. Juan from Black Marlin was super helpful but understandably cant help me with a warranty claim because of the direct import. For now I'm resigned to the fact that I wont have a power meter for a while until I can afford to buy one again, LOCALLY for sure this time.

The price disqualifies it for me simple as that. I just spent ~R10k on GX AXS, that must last for a number of years to justify the expense first before even considering this new RD.

Candice & Amy took 2:57 out of the Specialized ladies, very impressive after that horrifical injury of Amy.

Not so much something I learnt, but rather something I want to learn .... I ordered a replacement Garbaruk cage for my Sram GX AXS derailleur and is looking for an instructional video to remove and replace the cage with the new one. So far my searches on the inter web turned out nada .... . Can any one please point me in the right direction?

The only thing holding me back from getting a Hammerhead is "POLAR". Al my exercise data for many years (much more than on Strava) is on Polar Flow. Unfortunately Polar don't play nice with other manufacturers and probably will never accommodate data coming from anything other than a Polar .... ☹️

Agree, I will never even attempt to mix & match brands on shifter & derailleur. Edit: At the rear that is ...

I like worms .... 🤪😂 At the moment I have a Race Face NW chainring, a Shimano XTR chain, a 12sp Garbaruk Cassette and a Sram GX AXS rear derailleur, and they all are the best of pals, it work & shift perfectly every time ... ☺️. Granted like Robert said, although its a Garbaruk casstte, it is a Shimano (Microspline) replacement and my chain is also Shimano, so we all good ... 😊.

Even on the rear, in many instances Shimano/Sram work happily together .... 😊
