  4. Not all bikes are built like a Santa Cruz
  5. Did both the 80 and 109, The road was tough the day after the MTB, but thats how one grows....so they say. The very first steep one suited me perfect, I died on the second one, I didn't have any power left in my legs by the time we reach that. Also on the downhills, it was quite a headwind and my sticks were battling. I would definitely do it again, both.

  8. Rather go mechanical Campy like some others have said. No issues. If Nibali can ride it to win the Tour who am I to say its a no go. Giro: Campy EPS Tour: Campy RS Vuelta: .....time will tell.
  9. Guys, that part of the country only gets rain between 11 - 15 Aug, it can still get pretty wet!
  10. I would rather make cadence the constant, its a tad easier to control I reckon
  11. What you are trying to determine is quite tricky. This is solely your own responsibility to ride harder once the gradient goes up... My advice for you is to gear down(make it harder) and maintain the same cadence as your normal ride cadence(95-100), your watts will increase.
  12. That was my dream before last year, to ride down in daylight. The dream came true, it was awesome going down super fast and super risky, but heck I enjoyed it.
  13. As far as I understand, you need a someone to be registered as your back up, and they can only see you at CP5. park warm clothes for CP4, there should be enough food on the road, except at CP2. If you are worried that you might run out of light, rather ride with an headlight from the start and get your front light either at CP3/4. Also ride with some lube, it always helps a bit.
  14. What model ultravox is that? 2013? are you getting rid of your p2max?
